Stuhlfelden is located in the centre of Salzburger Land, at the gateway to the Hohe Tauern National Park - the largest protected area in the Alps. A paradise for hikers, cyclists and nature enthusiasts begins right on the doorstep: blooming alpine meadows, rushing waterfalls and imposing three-thousand metre peaks such as the Großvenediger. Discover the national park on themed trails, guided tours or while observing wild animals. In winter, you can quickly reach the ski areas of the Wildkogel Arena or the Kitzbühel Alps. Cross-country ski trails, snowshoe trails and natural toboggan runs provide variety away from the piste. A highlight for families is the National Park Centre in Mittersill.
