The staff were helpful & very pleasant. We also dined at the buffet , it was excellent. The complimentary breakfast was also very good. The pool & hot tub was well maintained. The grounds are beautiful. The nature hike was also Beautiful. Highly recommend. The Inn is Quaint & step back in time vibe.

I went to this hotel because it is a mountain resort and I needed to relax. The hotel itself wasn't too bad, but I paid for a room with a private Jacuzzi—at $350 a night—and unfortunately, the Jacuzzi didn't work; the hot water ran out just ten seconds after I started filling it. I couldn't use it—a terrible experience. I definitely wouldn't go back.

It was a good quick stay. It is peaceful and quiet. The mattress is older and can feel the springs. Some of the pillows are funky. The breakfast was quite terrible despite other reviews. It is with a waitress, but the food was so bland and unappetizing. Server was friendly. Front desk staff was less than friendly.

There was plenty of parking. We were there during the week, The room was clean, however my husband and I were put in between 2 families with kids. Other rooms were available, so why did they choose that one?? Rooms with balconies are hard to come by, so we didn't complain. We were told at check in that none of the amenities were available during our stay. We were disappointed as we were looking forward to using the pool and hot tub. No discount was given, as I asked. The property is very beautiful and well maintained. My husband enjoyed the complimentary breakfast very much. With all that being said, we would return to The Stroudsmoor.

We had to be moved because they put us in an attached room with noisy guests. Then we had to put up with a late night bridal shower in our new location. Poor sleep all around. Food was average. Fitness center was terrible and pool was fine. Staff was friendly at desk and restaurant, but struggled to solve problems. Work staff outside weren't friendly or helpful. We will never return.
