"The property was within easy walking of the main town of Stresa and much less expensive than the large hotels. It was also very convenient for accessing the ferries to the Borromean islands, a jewel of Lake Maggiore. The hotel decor was luxurious and the restaurant, which served a full buffet breakfast, overlooked a patio and gardens. The view from the roof top terrace was lovely. The only hitch was that I could not get the WiFi in my room to work so I had to use the WiFi in the main lounge. Overall, however, this was a very pleasant experience."

"We wanted an elegant Italian hotel full of style, and this hotel certainly delivered. Our room was upgraded to a lake view, presumably because the hotel wasn’t full. Everywhere you looked there was art work, beautiful decor and a luxurious feel, without being overwhelming. The staff could not be more helpful and professional, particularly the concierge. Breakfast was delicious with a wide range of food. The bed was quite firm and the cute balcony would have been the perfect place to sit and relax looking at the lake, had it not been for the weather - it rained! However, we would love to return to the hotel some time in the future, with fingers crossed for sunshine."

"The hotel was right in the middle of Stresa and a 5 minute walk from the lake. A charming hotel and friendly owner and staff. There is parking, but we were lucky to get a space as it's a public carpark."

"We arrived on a rainy foggy day for one night. Check in was easy & straightforward. The location is terrific and our room had a beautiful view (when its not so foggy!) The Gigi bar was very helpful. Loved the room and the decor- wish we could have stayed longer."
