City Centre Dublin3 nights8.2/10 - Very good (27 reviews)"I found communication a bit slow and posted information on reception desk hours contradictory. I worked out--reception desk was open past 5pm for my 7:15 arrival but I was stressed the whole way from the airport and St George's Quay on foot that I would not make it. I tried to call but using the information presented me could not connect via my USA iPhone. Probably something stupid I was doing but perhaps look at that information and see if it is the best information for travelers from outside..."Reviewed August 20, 2025Return • Birmingham (BHX) - Dublin (DUB)BHX - DUB • Direct DUB - BHX • Direct - Hotel Riu Plaza The Gresham Dublin

Bray3 nights8.4/10 - Very good (245 reviews)"The room was okay, it had a bad smell (I think it was the carpet) but we got used to it. There was only bath towels, no hand towels. The view was amazing. The restaurant downstairs was amazing. We did not spend a lot of time in the hotel, and more in the surrounding area, so that smell did not take the score down too low :)"Reviewed May 18, 2026Return • Manchester (MAN) - Dublin (DUB)MAN - DUB • Direct DUB - MAN • Direct£542£297found 7 hours agoper traveller - Grafton Street Boutique Aparthotel by City Break Apartments

The apartment was very clean and functional. An issue with initial access to the apartment was dealt with swiftly and professionally. The staff are great, friendly and easy to talk to. "Air conditioning is on a timer which shuts it off while you are still in the room. No coffee or tea service available in room and the coffee machine in the lobby was broken (staff just shrugged and said nothing when I asked about getting a cup of coffee). I would be willing to pay for coffee, but ..."

"If you are looking for a great Hotel in a great location. This hotel is not it! I wanted it to be. I was so excited to bisit Dublin. It is uninviting esthetically, bad smelling and a bit depressing. Expect a 20 -30 minute walk at minimum to get anywhere or you have to take a tram. There is very little ..."

"Hotel seemed old and extremely busy. Thankfully, there's a completely automated system for check in and check out, assuming you've prepaid. That said, there seemed to be no air conditioning in the room, and it was pretty hot in there, even with the window open. Made for a pretty uncomfortable night. ..."
