10/10 Excellent
"My stay started off beautifully, honestly couldn't have asked for a better check-in. Paul, the dapper gent with the soothing voice and vibe, made me feel instantly looked after. Talk about a safe place
e. The room was exactly as shown in the pictures and had everything I needed for my stay. I even grabbed a cheeky pint at the bar, didn't catch the woman's name (that's on me), but she was an absolute laugh and made me feel welcome. All in all, At... and did I mention Paul?!"
"Lovely stay for 1 week in August with our spaniel, communication great with operator and staff very friendly. The site was clean, tidy and generally well maintained, the only point to note is the part built wing of the development 'under construction' which appears to have been in its current unfinished state for sometime; although unsightly and the only downside to the acomodation, this definitely did not spoil our stay and would not hesitate to stay here again. "
"Great quality rooms over a really lovely pub - I recently stayed 2 nights at the Sawmill’s as part of a group booking of all 4 rooms as we were attending a local wedding.
Quality of the rooms is fantastic, especially the larger room 1. Great showers, clean nice facilities, fresh & well decorated rooms. Breakfast was also included which was really good food and made the overall cost of stay really reasonable. Would definitely stay again. "
"I loved everything about this place. I had to park in a different spot than the free one, for the second and third night, but it was not really that expensive at all."
"The food was excellent.
The staff were friendly and helpful.
The room was very comfortable with the only downside being the design of the bathroom where when using the toilet your feet are touching the shower tray."
"Lovely hotel. Welcomed us & our dog.
Excellent walking area at the back of the hotel for walking the dog.
Had a Sunday roast which was as good as mine!
Breakfast was so large, I didn’t have to eat again that day!"
