"Spotless room, cosy and comfortable, shower great, bed very comfortable, we fell asleep resting on top of bed when we first arrived. Tray breakfasts hot coffee, eggs mushrooms perfect, only toast bit burned! Evening meal lovely cooked to perfection really lovely food."

"The hotel is in a great location on the river and the staff were extremely welcoming. I stopped in one of the cottages, the room needed a bit of TLC and some new furniture. The water didn't drain properly so you had to keep stopping the shower. The chair in the room had so many stains, I generally avoided it. The breakfast was great, but when you looked under the tables there was food on the floor and it wasn't from breakfast."

"Wonderful hotel. Clean room. The pool was great and nice and warm (just remember kids are only allowed at certain times)."

"Great stay. Clean room and public areas. Good food in the dining room. Only downside is they’ve altered the terrace and lost the view of the 18th hole. And created a mini golf there instead for children! Why??"

"A friendly welcome by the staff and very attentive throughout our stay. Room 8 was excellent with plenty of space and a large bath with separate shower. Food selection was great and expertly prepared. Plenty of choices for breakfast. Good selection of drinks at the bar. Several walks from the hotel and the river Wye is only a 15 minute walk away."
