The location is convenient as it is close to shops and easy transportation to the city centre. The property is beautifully decorated—room was comfortable and quiet and the view over the Lidingö bridge and the inlet was fantastic. Staff were friendly and accommodating when I requested a late checkout. Breakfast was very nice and had everything needed. Highly recommend this excellent hotel— will definitely be back again. We wanted to stay on or near Vaxholm. This hotel ad claims to be right near Vaxholm but it is nowhere near it, unless maybe you have private transportation We paid for the room at a non refundable rate . It is hard to get to Vaxholm from this hotel without a car. We therefore could not stay at the hotel. In fact, we immediately realized that as soon as we made the reservation and called the hotel and contacted Expedia but Expedia said the hotel will not refund the reservation money,.even though we explained the problem within minutes of making the reservation.
