We loved this hotel! Quirky old building with very attentive, quirky staff to match. Our room was spacious for our family of four, and the meals were excellent. We ended up eating dinner there both nights of our stay. Rural setting very close to the Wallace monument and Stirling Castle.
Unexpectedly large and spacious beautiful family suite right on the shores of Loch Lomond. Of all the places we stayed in Scotland, this was by far the roomiest and nicest ever. The kids loved it. Very friendly staff too.

Welcoming staff , gorgeous grounds and world class dining. Located just a 2 minute walk to the center of town where there are great shops and restaurants too.

Come to Scotland and book a hotel room in the city of Stirling, a city that is celebrated for having the highest concentration of historical buildings in Scotland. Only a short trip from both Edinburgh and Glasgow, Stirling provides its guests with a wealth of beautiful sites, including the famed Stirling Castle, once home to iconic Scottish figures like Robert the Bruce and Mary Queen of Scots. The city also features the Bannockburn Heritage Centre, that recounts the tale of the victory of Scottish forces at the Battle of Bannockburn.
However, if being out in nature is more your style, then use Stirling as a jumping-off point for visits to the beautiful Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park, and the Cairngorms National Park, both of which are home to some of the country’s most scenic landscapes.
The mixture of rich history and dramatic scenery of this region makes for a wonderfully intimate destination if you are looking to plan a trip for you and a significant other. Within Stirling and Falkirk there are lots of romantic hotels available that will afford any travelling couple respite after a long day's touring.
