The caring and personable staff really made the stay at this hotel a pleasure. They made an effort to customise things to your taste and were very kind with surprising free drinks when just relaxing by the pool. Flamingos apartment complex is close to the beach, a short walk to a bus stop to take you to Chania, 15 minutes walk away from two supermarkets and there are plenty of restaurants nearby too. The complex is thoughtfully designed and kept beautifully. Every morning a team of ladies would be sweeping and cleaning the paths. Our apartment was looked after by a lovely lady called Louisa. The sheets and towels were changed every few days and the apartment cleaned everyday. We had an apartment with a beautiful terrace that we spent as much time on as we could - it was quiet and breezy and had fantastic views of the sea and the White Mountains. Our apartment was large and the beds were comfortable. The staff were brilliant at Flamingos - always happy to help.
