"Was very clean and fresh smelling, cleaning staff do a good job. Not right in the Brighton Town Centre so not too rowdy at all. "Our group stayed at YHA Southdowns prior to our ferry for France the next morning. Was surprised at how nice it was and felt is was great value. "The staff were great. Beds were comfortable and also felt quite private. No one was noisy. Everyone was respectful. Food was great in the pub. Beer was great in the pub. "Bog standard hostel situated above a nightclub open til 3am, wouldnt suggest staying here if your priority is sleep. "The worst hostel ive ever stayed in. The cleanliness is very poor, poo on the wall in the middle toilet. In our room the windowsill was filthy with cigarette ash, we were given a single duvet for a double bed.
