The property is older. Some things really need a refresh ( torn bed skirt and worn couch). But location is very nice to ski slope. Kitchen had everything we needed and bathrooms were nice. It was a good value for the price.
The proximity to the slopes couldn’t be better! The ski lockers were very convenient. The Retreatia shuttle provided free of charge was extremely convenient and easy to use. The hot tub and pool just a short walk away was fabulous! The condo was very clean and comfortable. A few minor things around the condo could use small repairs, but did not greatly affect our comfort.
Solid location, easy to use shuttle. Having to check in/out from a different location down mountain is a bit of a pain and means skiing your last day might not be possible.
Positives: location to slopes, size of condo, clean, and great view of mountainsNegatives: fireplace not in use and master bed is VERY uncomfortable and squeaks with every move.Overall, great spot as the negatives can be fixed.
We have been making an annual trek to Steamboat for 34 years and really enjoyed the ski in/ski out feature of this unit. This unit was exactly as we expected from the listing and it worked well for us. Communication with property management was great and very responsive.
We had a great stay at this property with 4 friends for a long weekend. The ski in/out was great. Property listing fairly accurate. Picture shows a fireplace but it's not usable . Beds very usable. Stocked kitchen easy to cook in.
Hot tub is in different building, about 2 min walk. Very nice pool/hot-tub facility
The property management has added bonus of a on-demand shuttle service.
the only thing that's a little confusing is that this property while listed on VRBO is managed by a rental company "Retreatia" which has it's own online portal. Generally works well but there are some small mismatches. For instance we were told we'd only have 1 parking place by Retreatia, although VRBO says 2, and turns out it's 2 -- this did influence our transportation plans and we would've gotten 2 rental cars had we known this.
Would stay here again overall. Very good value.
The ski in/out was nice. It was functional but nothing to rave about. The fireplace had a sign on it to not use it. Although they did have stacked wood outside. That was one of the reasons we booked it. That and the ski in/out access. I can see for novice or new skiers it would be difficult/intimidating to utilize the ski in/out. Also, if there wasn't enough snow it wouldn't be ski in/out.
To say the master bath was newly remodeled is a stretch for sure. New tile around the tube doesn't constitute that. The towel racks were barely hanging on. The blinds in the spare bedroom broke. Looked like mold around the Master window. The lock on the sliding door didn't work so a piece of wood was used.
The kitchen was funcional. The utensils could be better but were ok. The dishwasher was noisy. Maybe more than one trey to make ice. Funny my girls had never seen ice trays before.
The furniture was bad at best. All the beds and especially the couch should be tossed and replaced. They were pretty bad. The bedding old and outdated. They had large pillows but no pillowcases for them. So, I had to use two small pillowcases to cover one of the larger pillows.
The ski locker area while convenient, it has one bench for all the guest to use. Not to mention the floor was very slick with ski boots on.
My girls did like the pool area. However, they couldn't take towels from the pool back to our place to stay warm. I guess for future guest. Maybe be sure to bring a long robe or jacket to cover up in the winter. Our girls took their lighter jackets.
The management at check in and out were friendly. I didn't want to bother them with the above mentioned items. Mainly due to the fact nothing could be done and we were already there anyway. I would not rent this particular unit again but would rent another to see if it is better.

Just OK
Property and furniture were more worn out than the pictures appear. Location was excellent although it wasn't ski in/out due to lack of snow. They should have told us and we would have rented in a different complex. I called and asked if we could leave keys in the unit as others before us had done, but they said no. This caused us to have to drive down the mountain to drop keys and the back up to ski our last day. Very inconvenient and unnecessary.
We had late check in, single mom, two young kids. We picked up our keys in town at a lock box, drove up into the mountains in the dark, and found they had given us the wrong keys. No one to call, leaving messages, no one calling back... in the dark, in the rain, locked out with two kids under ten. Almost two hours before we were in. Kids had to pee in the bushes in the dark snd rain, everyone was in tears. And no one even called to apologize. Retreatia is the worst... really, wrong keys???? At night???? Office closed, only a number to text - that took forever. Awful.

Property clean and comfortable. The only main problem there was no transportation after 4:30pm so we were stuck in the condo for night time
We enjoyed our spring break family trip to Steamboat Springs. The condo was clean, great kitchen with supplies, washer and dryer for all the layers, and plenty of space for a family of five. The trail to get to the lift was close and convenient. The view of the slopes was amazing! We wish we could have stayed longer!❤️
Corner unit- so you will have a view of the ski hill. Corner balcony faces parking lot and ski hill. Well stocked kitchen, grill was ready to go. Nice property, up and away from the ski village. Direct access to trail to walk down into village. Fun watching the summer activity on the mountain. Have fun!
The condo complex is a bit dated but the condo had plenty of space for our family of three. The ski locker in the building was very convenient and we really enjoyed the heated salt water pool, which was a short walk away. We also enjoyed watching the groomers out of the living room window. The ski-in and ski-out required quite a bit of walking both ways for the snowboarder in our family. The shuttle from the mountain to the condo was convenient. Overall, we had an enjoyable stay!
