The best area to stay in Stathaiika is generally within the main village itself, or in the immediate surroundings overlooking the Ionian Sea.Stathaiika is a small, traditional village, so the "main area" refers to the cluster of homes and guesthouses around the central square and the local church. This gives you easy access to the few local tavernas and mini-markets, offering a genuine taste of local life. The village is located in the hills, meaning many properties offer stunning views of the coastline and the sea beyond. For couples seeking a quiet and scenic retreat, staying in a villa or guesthouse just outside the village centre, on the slopes leading down towards the sea, is ideal. These properties often feature private pools and spacious terraces, great for relaxing and enjoying the panoramic views. You'll find a peaceful environment, but still be a short drive from the beaches of Marathias or the more lively town of Kyparissia.Families will appreciate staying closer to the village centre or in accommodations with good access to the main road. This provides convenience for daily excursions to nearby beaches or historical sites.
