"Incredible views from the spacious and beautiful rooms make a stay here very comfortable and relaxing. Set in the beautiful Banhoek Valley with plenty of options for wine and dining this is a great getaway"
"Nice hotel with many dining options within walking distance. Breakfast was okay quality and plentiful. It’s a historic building so expect quirks and creaks. Staff are very nice! "
"The location is good, on the verge of the town centre. Beautiful building. Beds are very comfortable. Parking is good.
How ever a small room, nowhere to put your suitcase, no soap for washing hands first day, no garbage bin, no fridge, no hairdryer. We were expecing a bit more from "the luxury living" slogan.

"A beautiful hotel with lots of local character. Staff were so friendly and helpful, delicious breakfast. Very close to the cafes and shops of Stellenbosch and felt very safe, which was important to me as a solo female traveller."

"Just a perfect stay. The building is amazing and the rooms are stunning. Ilzebet was the best host and made sure the stay was memorable. Take breakfast facing the mountains - really a memorable stay. "
"My husband and I stayed for 3 nights at Coopmanhuijs while in Stellenbosch. It was fantastic! The staff was super friendly and acommodating. The restaurant was outstanding. Our reservation included breakfast and we were able to order off of a menu and/or opt for the generous buffet. We also ate dinner at the restuarant and it was beyond delicious. (Springbok carpaccio!) We don't usually relax in common hotel spaces, but everyone was so welcoming that we did spend some time in the lounge by the fire. We met some other guests who were super interesting, and I felt like I learned a lot about South Africa culture as well. Thank you for a lovely stay!"
