Only reason I gave them a good for upkeep of location is the carpet - it needs to go and it needs a more upscale flooring. Other then that it is simple a delight to stay here! "Overall a good choice for short-term stay in Helsinki. The staff was super friendly and offer some good services like luggage storage, and I also went to a bingo night event which was really fun! The basics were all fine too, Wi-Fi, beds, TV, etc were all perfectly functional. I didn't love the shared bathrooms, obviously it is not totally in their control how people use them but just some basic things like some kinda lock on the shower, or having paper towels instead of hand dryers would have improved it. Can't say I was unhappy with it though, as far as hostels go it is adequately satisfying."
