Thoughtfully designed with modern décor, this newly remodeled space sits in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley—just minutes from Shenandoah National Park—making it the perfect base for your mountain or river getaway. Bring your fur baby as we are very dog friendly!

    Conveniently located in the center of the county, you’ll enjoy easy access to everything the area has to offer, as well as nearby attractions, including:
    ~Shenandoah National Park
    ~Shenandoah River ~Luray Caverns and lots of other local attractions (see guidebook)
    ~Massanutten Resort for skiing, golf, hiking trails, and a water park
    ~Harrisonburg, home to JMU and EMU events

    Please note:
    This home is in a town setting with lovely mountain views but is not tucked away or secluded in the mountains.

    Bedroom Details:
    Bedroom 1 is a large cozy room with a California King bed and two nightstands with a dresser and a rack for hanging clothes.

    Bedroom 2 is a very cozy room with a full-size (double) bed and a nightstand. It’s ideal for children, though it can comfortably accommodate adults.

    This property is new to the short-term rental market and currently offers a variety of basic amenities (see amenities list). Additional outdoor features will be added as the space continues to develop.

    Please note: There is a small retail shop on the property. It is completely separate from the rental house and does not affect guest privacy.

Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights
You DO NOT have to strip any bed linens from the bed(s). The cleaners like to check them for: make-up, blood from cuts from hiking, etc., so the linens can be pre-treated prior to washing.
If you turned the HVAC system off and opened the windows, please be sure to close and lock the windows and turn the HVAC system back on before your departure.
Please DO NOT use the white bath linens to remove make-up, use the wipes and the black make-up towel provied. Addtional wipes and make-up towels are in the top drawer of the bathroom vanity.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Rules

No cooking foods with strong odors such as using garlic. Do not remove any item from the property for any reason.
NO oil or petroleum type substance are allowed in or on the bed or used on or with the towels/washcloth/hand towel. Must be a water-based item.
NO sitting, dancing, climbing or etc. on any countertop. If you break/crack the stone, you will have to pay to have all the stone replaced. Cost $8500

Nice cozy cabin

The cabin was clean, comfortable, and spacious. Close to Shenandoah National Park, caverns, grocery stores, etc. The house had everything we needed plus more. A lot of things to do in the area for all ages. Perfect house for vacation

Amazing!!

This place was beautiful and amazing! Once of the best places we've ever stayed. The owner is so dedicated to making you feel at home, and maintains it as is he was staying there. The location is perfect for exploring Shenandoah valley. It is basically right in the middle of everything. We will definitely be coming back!

Pristine and peaceful

This rental is the cleanest, nicest, most updated place I've stayed at using VRBO. I cannot say enough about how thoughtfully the host has set this place up to be comfortable for guests. We will definitely be back.

The cabin was very nice. It was clean, beautifully decorated, spacious, and had everything we needed. Jason was readily available and answered us quickly when we needed him. We would consider staying here again in the future.

Really nice little cottage stay

Clean, well-equipped, and cozy. Nothing bad to say about the cottage. Communication and check in process was a breeze. Town is very quiet, but cottage is a short drive to several nice spots.

Great property and a great experience. Smooth turnkey operation for check in and check out. An absolutely wonderful interior space: rustic and charming, shiplap pine paneling, and a really comfortable space. Great kitchen with lots of room, new granite countertops, and all of the appliances are brand new. Lots of nice touches like a well stocked coffee/tea station, bathrobe, fluffy towels, etc. Responsive host and I would definitely stay here again.
