A Great Way to Unwind
Perfect setting for a get away. Cabin was wonderful. We had a great time and are looking forward to returning.

Goodbye Outside World
If you want to escape from all the technological “advances” in today’s world, you need to stay here. No phone, no television, no Internet ... YOU are in charge! Enjoy the crackle of the fire you make in the fireplace (thank you Jane for supplying plenty of firewood), the beauty of the huge pond only a few steps from the cabin, hiking up Old Rag Mountain just a short drive away and the compete serenity this property offers.

The weather was amazing
For it to be cold it was amazing spending it there. There was snow in the ground which made it even more cozy. Will definitely return again absolutely loved it

Rustic Cabin, Very Warm and Inviting
Overall, the cabin was absolutely beautiful as promised and I'm going to try to convince my wife and friends to come back here soon. There is no WIFI or cell service, which I viewed as a plus as it was a great way to unwind. The cabin came fully equipped with all the firewood and kindling you would need for either the firepit outside or the old fashioned fireplace inside. The cabin smelled of all the burnt wood over the years, in the best way possible. All the furniture was extremely cozy. We also brought our four month old puppy, and the place was perfect for him to wander and explore without getting in to too much trouble. The lake, a literal 2 minute walk to the pier, is perfect for some relaxing fishing. We didn't even get to much of the hiking we wanted to do because the house was perfect for playing board games and reading books. The property managers were extremely responsive and friendly answering our questions. Only Cons: Follow the check-in instructions very closely. It told us to look for certain color mailbox to get the keys. The mailbox was not the same color! We figured it out, but it was a bit of a scare. Also, if you have allergies to smoke, this property may not be your cup of tea The woodburning fireplace inside leaves a very strong campfire smell that is ingrained in the house. Also if you're a big stickler in the kitchen, it may be worth bringing your own pan as the ones they had were pretty thin. Also note the bedrooms walls do not go all the way up to the ceiling, so noise from your cotravelers will definitely be heard.

5/5 Excellent

It was absolutely everything we hoped for.
