"This hotel is a nature lovers paradise. Nestled in the valley with perfect views of the bay, cats and chickens roaming the property, and the sounds at night from the wildlife is fantastic. It is an older property so not perfect on tidiness, but the rooms were clean and spacious. Brooks bar is a 5 minute up the street has the best authentic Caribbean food at a bargain. You can walk to the beach but is a long .7 miles (big hill) so a short taxi might be best if not in shape. My family loved this...

"The property is a true oasis. Clean and accommodating on a 4 star level honestly. There is a restaurant adjacent to the property (The Shack) good food and tvs for watching sports. There is another beach bar steps away with award winning wings but just a beach bar hut nothing fancy. The beach is good for sunbathing there are quite a few rocks once you walk in the water so I’d recommend water shoes to get past that point. Not overly crowded so super relaxing. "Beautiful marble floors with breathtaking waterfront and countryside views. The glass double doors that fully open to the amazing views lets the ocean air washes the worries away. "The Mafolie Hotel has been around for years. Its beautiful setting is worth the taxi ride up the mountain! On the plus side, the open air restaurant and DELICIOUS food would be a destination in itself.
