As soon as you open the sliding glass door, your to will realize why Sapphire village has a place in our hearts. The marina with the boats or the sound of the waves can help you feel relaxed right away. The short walk to the white sands of Sapphire Beach will make you realize you are in paradise. Our condo 175 Dominica, Sapphire Village, located right on the marina can be your first stop in your unforgettable vacation on St Thomas. We just bought a new sleeper sofa and loveseat for the living room. The kitchen has a full size stove and oven for when you feel like cooking or a short drive to Red Hook which has some fabulous restaurants. If you do not feel like cooking or driving, we do have a restaurant on property or down by the beach is a bar/ coffee shop with food available. In the living room and bedroom, air conditioning is available. We have beach chairs, beach towels, and snorkel masks for your adventure to the beach. The bathroom has a full size shower. If you feel like a dip in the pool, it is just a walk up the road. It is located right by the restaurant. Red Hook is a short drive or taxi ride. It is were you can catch the ferry to St. John. It has shops, a market and restaurants. We have found renting a car helps to navigate the island easier, but there is the Safari cabs that will take you everywhere. A laundromat is on property by the office. You can get tokens inside the office. We have been coming to St Thomas for 17 years and ever since the first year has only stayed at Sapphire. The people are friendly and always welcoming and we still have not gotten tired of the views. We had a wonderful week at Stacy’s condo. The views were amazing , the balcony was a lovely spot for meals and simply relaxing to enjoy the view. It was great to have a one bedroom …they are not typical in this complex…many are advertised as one bedroom but are studios!The condo is nicely furnished with quality tropical themed furniture. The large king bed was comfy but on the soft side…luckily fairly supportive so it worked for us.2 Mini split ac units kept the place nice and cool.The location of this complex was terrific if you love snorkelling…Saffire beach is just a short walk away and lovely for swimming and excellent snorkelling.The owner provides everything you need for the beach including coolers so that was great.The owner was very responsive. Within a 5 min walking distance to Sapphire Beach. Close to laundry, pool and Sudi's restaurant. Close to Red Hook which is convenient via taxi or car. We walked the hill every day for the local taxi to Red Hook…cost $2\. The condo has a beautiful view overlooking the marina. Communication was good, had a question to the owners answered right away. The condo was clean….Wasn't looking for anything special however, I did expect at least a few bottles of water in the Fridge or on the counter that would have been nice. Only other thing I saw was a couple small roaches in the kitchen at night on the counter below the microwave…so probably need pest control to come in and treat. We didn’t keep any food on the counters or in the fridge only water. The unit had AC which was nice after the first couple of nights….as it got really hot and humid in the room….once the AC was on I kept the temp set around 73/74 and it got cold quickly. There was one other thing I would strongly recommend y’all to PLEASE replace the blinds in the bedroom and definitely get New Ceiling Fans the one in the bedroom does not work. Honestly, we were only In the condo first thing in the morning and when we returned in the evening after a fun day of beach hopping and snorkeling. Would I stay here again? Coffee shop, beach bar, pizza place and nice restaurant (Sea Salt, very good) within walking distance. Close to laundry, pool and Sudi's restaurant. Close to Red Hook which is convenient (if you have a car there is no place to park, it was easier to take a taxi). The condo has a beautiful view overlooking the marina. The downside, it was dirty when we arrived (partially clean? the bed was made, not sure if it was clean) Microwave, toilet, door wall, drink rings on the coffee table) I reached out to Stacy and she responded immediately. After seeing photos I sent she offered to send the cleaning person to meet with us in the morning however I declined. I had plans and did not want my belongings unattended. Also, the air conditioner units are on the balcony. It is so hot you have to turn them off to sit outside for five minutes. Stayed for the month we had one washcloth, hand towel, bath towel and beach towel per person. I went and purchased bath towels. Could use a deep cleaning. Screens are caked with dust (kitchen & bedroom). Hutch has so much dust you can write your name in it (I have pictures). It's a great place, just needs a little TLC. Once we cleaned everything it was nice. Also, you have to walk through a construction zone to get to the beach. Worth the walk though, the beach is beautiful. Would I return? Yes. I believe is was a fluke with the cleaning person. The host was very apologetic and concerned. Stacy’s Retreat was perfect and in a great location! Close to the ferry we took to go to St. John for a day. This condo is next to the marina near Sapphire Beach, so there were no steep hills to climb.The king bed and sofa bed were so comfortable! i stayed here with two of my friends and we had plenty of room for our 6 day trip! The condo was clean, well-stocked and in a fantastic location. Now I see why this Condo has a 5 star rating. Snorkeling equipment for 4, beach chairs and even a beach cooler. Great views, easy access to what we think is the best beach, Sapphire Beach. Excellent restaurants in Red Hook and on the beach. Sudi's located right on property was also a fav! This is a small condo but was perfect for our 2 person 10 day getaway. Hosts were always available to help and answer questions and we felt at home the whole time. ##### T H. Local pizza Paradise pie and Susie’s are AMAZING just a short walk to the beach.
