**Considering our property to another rental, we offer: 1 Beach cart (to take items to beach with fat tires), 1 Coolbrella beach umbrella, 8 beach chairs, 1 bocce ball set, 3 pool umbrellas, 8 lounge chairs, 1 cornhole, Gas grill and Gas firepit with 5 chairs. HUGE upgrade compared to other properties that don't offer and require you to pay for these amenities!**

The Oyster features ONE LEVEL (great for little ones or older loved ones!) easy living with open kitchen + living room, separate wings for easy relaxation, totaling 5 bedrooms (4 Kings + 4 Twins = Sleeping 12), 4 bathrooms. St Simons spring break

Oyster house is the best beach house my family has ever stayed in. This was such a memorable vacation in so many ways. This house had everything we needed and wanted and we enjoyed every moment.A special place for our family to make memories together.

Great for our girls trip

This house was perfect for our girls weekend. The outside amenities are great. We enjoyed a full day out by the pool while we were there. It’s also an easy walk to the beach. The location is great and very residential. Would definitely love to go back.

A perfect trip!

We had the loveliest visit to St. Simons Island, thanks in large part to this beautiful home. The space is gorgeous indoors and out, and has been so thoughtfully designed. It is spotlessly clean and fully stocked. Family members on our trip ranged from ages 5-82 and everyone was happy. John responded quickly to our questions and shared so many great recommendations for the area. We will definitely be back!

Family Time

Great property! Very clean and well maintained. Beds were very comfortable and the backyard was amazing. The layout is perfect for large families with multiple bedrooms and bathrooms. The neighborhood is also very quiet. Highly recommend this property!

Great Beach House

The walk to the beach was magical. The house came with great beach equipment. House was very modern and clean. The bunks were a bit of a challenge due to the height of our teens but would be great for young kids. Pool was wonderful and we loved the back yard.

As always we had an amazing trip to St. Simons. This house was the perfect fit for our two families and was simply lovely. We appreciated the pool and outdoor activities as well as easy and close proximity and access to the beach.

Great house

We really enjoyed our stay at The Oyster! The backyard is fully equipped to have fun. Our weather wasn't so great over the holidays but the heated pool helped! It was really warm. The kitchen is fully equipped and having multiple bedrooms and bathrooms spread out was perfect. We hope to stay in the summer months to enjoy the outside more.

Amazing Vacation Home

I say vacation home instead of vacation rental because that is what it truly felt like. Every comfort and amenity were at our fingertips. The Oyster was spacious and inviting. There was plenty to do but, most importantly for my crew, everyone was able to just relax and enjoy the time off. The beach was close by but the heated pool and hot tub helped knock of the chill off the early spring. I can’t say enough positive things about the place or the interactions with the owner. We can’t wait to book our stay for next year! Truly a family favorite!

Kids loved the pool

House was great for the family, which included 5 kids under 10. Although the beach was only a short walk away, we spent 90% of our time by the pool. Jordan was always available by phone/text to answer any questions. Would definitely recommend this property.

Family Spring Break Trip

The Oyster is a gem of a rental property in the best part of St Simons for family, East Beach. Perfectly set up for 2 or 3 families. We were a group of 8 with 4 adults and 4 kids between 9 and 14. Between the heated pool, hot tub and ping pong table the kids kept themselves busy and off phones…. Love St Simons and will be back!

St Simons at its Best !

My wife and I have taken our kids and grandkids to St Simons for the last 8 years. This property was hands down our favorite. The host was extremely prompt responding to questions even on Easter morning. Split bedroom design was perfect. The kids took one side of the house and we took the other. So nice not to hear the 4 yo at 6 am every morning. The house was an amazing remodel with all high end features. The salt water pool and “hot pool” were exceptional. The entire outdoor space was perfect. Ideal location for beach and restaurants.

The Oyster

This house was awesome! The pictures and the description were very accurate and the house appeared to be new or newly remodeled and was very clean and well equipped and well maintained. My wife and I plus 2 adult children and their spouses and 3 young grandchildren stayed in the house and everyone enjoyed it. St Simons Island is now a favorite beach town for our family.

First class comfortable accommodations

The property is beautiful and excellent in amenities. We enjoyed the location to our wedding events, food and the beach. We had an incident at 4:30am on January 7th. A six year old fell out of the top bunk closest to the window and broke his arm. He was taken to the ER in Brunswick where he was treated with a splint until he can have the necessary surgery later this week in their hometown of Lincoln, NE.

Refined Comfort

We are 2 families of 4 that have spent Memorial Day together for almost 10 years. We chose The Oyster after finding on VRBO because of the ample bedrooms, large open living spaces inside and out, the beautiful pool and proximity to the beach. Pictures don’t do this house justice - we were blown away upon entering the home that everything was even better than expected. The decor in every room and outside is beautiful, the kitchen is beautifully apppointed with everything you could need, the king bedrooms are very comfortable for adults and grown kids, and the outdoor spaces from the screened porch to pool and jacuzzi, ping pong table and corn hole make it a hard choice to go to the beach which is a short walk. We will definitely stay again if we return to SSI!

Exquisite Home, Great Location!

I can’t speak highly enough of the property and our experience at The Oyster. Our family, with 6 adults and 5 kids, had the perfect amount of space. The house was so clean, beautifully updated, and had everything we needed. The pool and hot tub were ideal for the kids and adults. We had a ping pong table, cornhole set and firepit for additional fun. It was less than a 10 min walk to the beach, super easy, and they equipped us with beach chairs, tent and toys. We were so close to downtown for retail therapy and delicious restaurants, but we didn’t spend too much time there as we wanted to enjoy the house as much as we could. We had the best trip in the absolute best house on the island... we highly recommend!! We will be back for sure!

We enjoyed the property was all one level especially with a 14 month old learning to walk.., The kids loved the bunk room but no one slept on the top … loved the split bedrooms.. and the open kitchen concept with the dining area and great room.. Love the color palette .. but I was constantly afraid children would get something on the sofa .. Thankfully their parents always has them eat at the table when at home.. .. The beach is a short drive … The kids, of course, wanted to walk. We would recommend the Oyster and will definitely stay again.
