Welcome to Lucy's Hideaway! This immaculate 4-bedroom / 2.5 bathroom island beach cottage is located in a quiet neighborhood just a few minutes away from beaches, restaurants, and shopping on St. Simons Island!
Guest reservations of 3 to 21 nights come with a valuable credit to use towards beach gear rentals during your stay! The credit amount of $40/night is included in each reservation. You may use your credit for bicycles, beach chairs and umbrellas, beach carts, kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, and even experiences with select vendors! – The choice is yours!

Welcome to Lucy's Hideaway! Newly renovated and furnished, this 4-bedroom / 2.5 bath cottage is located in a charming neighborhood in proximity to the Village area. The front living room leads to a dining area that seats six. One of the two recently remodeled full bathrooms is connected to this space. From the dining area, a hallway leads to two queen-sized bedrooms and another updated full bathroom with a walk-in shower.
An open kitchen has all you could need to prepare and share meals for you and your guests. A bar counter seats two, and a walk-in pantry houses the refrigerator, wine cooler, plenty of cabinet space, and a washer and dryer. From the kitchen, you'll find a sunny family room with plenty of seating and a SmartTV plus a view of the screened-in porch and heated saltwater pool/spa. The third bedroom off the family room has beautiful heart pine sliding doors and bunk beds.
A recently added garage has a bedroom/office space and a half bath, a covered outdoor entertaining area, and a detached garage. There is an outdoor shower with hot and cold water off the screened porch and deck area. The fully fenced backyard is a great space to enjoy yard games while ensuring that your pups are safe!

We had a fantastic time at Lucy's Hideaway! Everything we could possibly need was provided and we were extremely comfortable. The pool is the perfect size and he hot tub was a welcome addition. We will absolutely stay again!
We enjoyed Lucy’s Hideaway very much. Very comfortable furniture (beds, living room, etc.). Nice quiet neighborhood close to the pier & village. Will come back in the summer to enjoy the pool, yard and outdoor landscape.
Lucy's Hideaway is the perfect beach cottage - it is in a great location (quiet neighborhood within walking distance to the Village) and is beautifully decorated. Our group loved relaxing on the back porch and in the hot tub after a day on the beach. I highly recommend this property!
We had a wonderful vacation at Lucy's Hideaway. The home was perfect for our family and we loved having the gorgeous pool right in the backyard. It was in a great location on Saint Simons and the property management company was top notch. We would definitely stay there again.
We loved our stay at Lucy's Hideaway! The house was great for our large group. Everyone could hangout together, or separate. The screened-in porch, pool deck, and patio of the detached garage/room allow everyone to spread out and enjoy being outside as well. All instructions were clear, and we had everything we needed.
The property management team was amazing to work with. They responded promptly to our requests and questions, even on a holiday (which I was not expecting). The property itself is a charming home in a quiet neighborhood close to the pier and 'downtown' area. The yard is spacious and well maintained. The pool, hot tub and grill were nice to have available. We mostly enjoyed our stay for those reasons, however, I think it's important to point out a few things for any prospective guests.The house is smaller than it appears in the listing. It is very nicely decorated and clean but there is not much indoor space if you have a larger party or two families staying together. The bedrooms are small, the beds are not very comfortable, and there are no TVs in the bedrooms. We had an issue with pests during our stay which was disappointing but again, the property management company sent out pest control twice while we were there in an effort to remedy the situation.
Lucy’s Hideaway was amazing! The home was beautiful, clean, and right down the road from the pier! We had a quick getaway and picked this home because it had the pool and spa. My son played in the pool the whole weekend! Being heated he literally played all weekend in it! The house was stocked with everything you need and was so roomy. It felt like home! We will definitely coming back!
The house was very cute and cozy. The back yard pool and spa were perfect. Fenced in for the dog too. Plus you had multiple options for sitting outdoors....screened porch, deck, pool area, etc. They really thought of everything. We would go again in a heartbeat. The island area is also nice. Plenty of places to eat but not touristy.
This was our first time staying on Saint Simons Island, and we absolutely loved it! The home was spotless and exactly as pictured on VRBO. We especially appreciated that we could bring our daughter’s dog, Wells—it was his first vacation with us! The fenced-in backyard was perfect for him, and the provided doggy blankets and towels were such a thoughtful touch.The location couldn’t have been better—everything we wanted to do or eat was within five minutes, so it made getting around incredibly easy. The property management team was friendly, communicative, and always available to answer any questions we had.We thoroughly enjoyed the backyard and the pool. Both the front and back yards were beautifully maintained and made for a relaxing environment. We’ll definitely be back—and we’d absolutely stay at this home again!
The property is gorgeous and the location is perfect. However, there were quite a few things wrong. When we got there, the yard had dog waste all over. We had to clean it up ourselves. The screen door for the back porch was bent, allowing bugs to come in. There were dirty dishes in the cabinet. Landscapers and a pool guy showed up, without any prior warning to us. We should have been warned so we knew about random people in the yard and more importantly, so we could put our dog away (luckily we weren’t home and she was with us, but it could have been a problem). There was a strong smell of fumes in the garage and 4th bedroom, when the maintenance man came to change the carbon monoxide detectors batteries, he claimed to not have smelled anything. We had to leave the garage door open the whole time we were at the house or the 4th bedroom wouldn’t have been able to been utilized. For the price we were charged and paying a cleaning fee, we should not have had to clean up after previous guests or had any of the issues we had. Like I said, the property is gorgeous, but the property management company seems to be slacking.
