The pictures and description of the property were very accurate and there was plenty of room for us. We really enjoyed the outside patio area that had a fan and was enclosed so our dog could hang out with us. The pool was nice and we took advantage of that area as well. The area is extremely walkable and beach access is extremely close. Also only a 5-10 minute drive to get something to eat. As the temperatures dropped we decided to make the best of our circumstances…or as they say when life gives you melons….make lemonade! We started looking at homes to rent for the remainder of our visit - then we stumbled across this gem. The house was perfect! Clean, well organized and mostly supplied with what we needed. The beds were comfortable and the house is in a great location on East Beach. One of the view original beach homes left, which made it even more charming. That back yard is serene! I would suggest this for a small family or girls weekend. That plunge pool is Heaven on earth! You won’t be disappointed! ##### Amy P. The property manager was very responsive. I was told I’d get a text when the cleaners were done so I could enter the house, and I never received a text. Overall the house needs a lot of upgrades. One guest bathroom looked newer, but the rest of the house was very dated. There’s also a smaller house behind the pool. It appeared it may have been the owners staying there. When I booked the vacation I paid for the added trip insurance just in case. Prior to going on the trip the doctor told us that they wanted my wife to take it easy and we did not know if we would be able to take the trip or not. When I reached out to the property owner/management they told me that they do not issue refunds. After getting the green light from our doctor, we were told my wife could go to the beach as long as she took it easy. The weekend we had booked was also the weekend that the south east had the ice storm. On top of that my kid got sick and we submitted a doctor's excuse for the VRBO insurance policy (sick guests are SUPPOSED to be covered under the policy). Long story short we were unable to go on the trip and we were told by both VRBO and the property management to kick rocks. Even though this property is stunning and my family and I were very much looking forward to enjoying it, I would not come to this property now if you gave it to me for free for the week of the 4th of July.
