Fondly named the Pelican's porch because of our relaxing front porch with two swings, dining for six and a couple of Adirondack chairs. There are some fun activities, such as corn hole in the back yard and a ping pong table located on the garage level. \[Special Discounts\] Enter these dates to see discounted rates: March 26-28, 2026 (2 nights) April 14-19, 2026 (up to 5 nights) July 5-12, 2026 (up to 7 nights) THE SPACE Home is located off Ocean Blvd on Eighth Street at East Beach. Why Stay on East Beach: The stretch of beach along the ocean side of St. Simons Island is known as East Beach. A quant neighborhood of single-family homes begins at the access point of the U.S. Coast Guard Station at the northern tip and ends at the southern point of Gould's Inlet by access of Bruce Drive, which runs down the center of East Beach. The Coast Guard Station houses the present home to the World War II Home Front Museum. Bikes, carts, paddleboards and more are available for rent locally, discount included. There are no fees or surcharges attached to your reservation. Pets: This home is dog friendly with $250 pet fee, 2 dogs max. Unfortunately we can't host breeds known to insurance carriers as 'vicious', please ask if you're not sure. No Smoking: No smoking is allowed in the home, on the porches/patios/decks, or on the property in general. Minimum Age: Must be 25 + to book, or age 30 + on GAFL weekend (last weekend in October) For GAFL weekend (last weekend in October), guests must be age 30 + or kids with their parents, no student groups. The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed for a beach getaway. The fenced back yard came in very handy with our dogs. We love the beauty of the island (especially East Beach area) and the overall vibe. Great restaurants, beach, parks, etc. This property was perfect for our family- had everything we needed. We loved how the house was laid out and decorated. Wonderful porch and large driveway area where we enjoyed many games. Then I walked to the other end of the street to watch sunrise. A true moment of zen. The house is very comfortable and well appointed.
