Newly remodeled beachfront house with a pool. This beach house on SSI is located in the heart of the St. Simons Island Pier Village. It is located 2 blocks from the pier, lighthouse, numerous quaint shops, and restaurants. The Village also hosts many Crafts in the Village, where vendors come to market their local art and handmade items. Be sure to visit the oceanfront Neptune Park Fun Zone, which offers a playground, 18-hole miniature golf course, swimming pool with zero-entry access, water gym, and lap lanes. Spacious 3-story home with awesome views of the St. Simons Sound, Jekyll Island, and the Sydney Lanier Bridge. Great for watching dolphins play in the water and for capturing beautiful sunsets. There is an elevator with service from the ground floor garage to all three levels. The main living is on the 2nd floor and features a living and dining area with a covered deck overlooking the ocean, a big kitchen with a large island that seats 4, a large kitchen table that seats 12, and a dining room that seats 6\. There are two master suites, one on the first floor with a covered deck providing easy access to the pool with great views of the ocean. The primary master is on the third floor overlooking the ocean, with a private covered balcony, large bath with a separate tub, shower, and walk-in closet. The third and fourth bedrooms located on the third floor share a Jack and Jill full bath. A new bunk bedroom was added to the first floor that sleeps up to 8 people with its own private full bath. This new room allows the house to comfortably sleep 14-16 people. This oasis is the perfect place for a great vacation! There is an extra fridge and freezer in the garage, along with a wine fridge in the kitchen. The first-floor porch near the pool has everything you will need to enjoy a great time at the pool or for entertaining with an under-the-counter fridge and a large built-in Blackstone grill. Although this home is oceanfront, please note that beach access is tide-dependent. Beach access from our home relies on the public access located a few yards from our driveway. Please, no smoking in the house and on decks and balconies. The minimum age to rent is 30, and those under 30 must be accompanied by their parents. Each rental will receive a starter set of supplies for the dishwasher, washing machine, toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, coffee, tea, sugar, and creamer. This starter set is for the renters' convenience to be used until they make their trip to the store. THIS HOME WILL NO LONGER ALLOW ANY PETS OF ANY KIND TO EVER BE ON THE PREMISES. Our daughter has severe allergies and unfortunately, we can't take the risk of her having an allergic reaction. We apologize to those with pets. This house is located on a small street with several full-time residents nearby. Therefore, we want renters to be respectful of the neighbors. Please take the time to check out our new island oasis. We are looking to create some great family memories in our new beach home, and we hope you will do the same. What a thrill! We enjoyed fishing and walking the expansive beach at low tide. Lots of sitting out and swimming by water’s edge. Perfect location to watch fireworks. It had everything from extra toiletries to blenders, to beach equipment to super plush outdoor cushions etc. There was nothing we needed. The house is also walkable to town for bars and restaurants. Newly renovated, gorgeously decorated, equipped with everything you could want, and perfect location on the water with views of Jekyll and a short walk from the pier village. The pool is so close to the ocean that you feel like you’re sitting on the beach. The kitchen is ideal for those who like to cook, with brand new, high-end appliances. We loved the large open main floor and 2 porches but the amazing kitchen is a bonus. The entire house is decorated with a beach theme with great colors. The property is exactly as pictured. It feels warm and authentic - like you’re staying at your best friend’s beach house instead of a generic rental property. The location can’t be beat! Not only is it oceanfront, it’s also just a couple of blocks from all the shops and restaurants at the village, the pier, lighthouse, and Neptune park. The mermaid house is perfect for our 3 generation family vacation. Plenty of space for everyone and a week’s worth of wholesome family fun! ##### Patricia W. This is our second time stating at Laura’s beautiful home and it is just as lovely as ever. The theme of the house is “mermaid” so there are lots of sweet pieces of art throughout this three story home equipped with an elevator for ease of moving groceries and luggage to the upper floor. The garage is full of beach toys and bikes. Everything is perfectly clean and the outdoor swing on the second level is the perfect spot for reading and listening to the waves. We absolutely loved our stay at this property. The location is ideal, just a short two blocks from the village and in a beautiful neighborhood. We had dogs with us and this location had great neighborhood walking as well as easy access to the beach when the tide was down. The house is very comfortable and spacious, the kitchen large and well equipped. And the porch off the living room....that bed swing was worth the trip on its own! Very comfortable outside furniture. We even enjoyed a few evenings by the gas powered fire pit by the water. While we enjoyed watching the progress on the dismantling of the shipwreck, can’t wait for next year when the view is of Jeckyll Island instead! ##### Tom S.
