The sheets weren’t the softest, but smelled very fresh. We enjoyed the ease of walking basically across the street to get to the beach, and also liked sitting in the pool. Having a Publix (and a new ice cream shop!) right next door is great, especially for people with children. You don’t really know it’s there because the parking entrance is off the other side of the building! There are many restaurants within walking distance; pizza (Britts), fine Italian (Gigi’s), above average bar food (Ricky T’s/Sloppy Joes), and even breakfast (Sloppy Joes). The only thing we would have liked is to have a keypad on the south stairs entrance. It was spotlessly clean with nice amenities. We were spoiled with having 2 balconies, and didn't realize when we booked that one of the balconies even had a bit of an ocean view. It was very convenient having a Publix next door, too. It was a little confusing trying to figure out how to get into the condo building when we arrived, but some other guests helped us out. Was pleased to see the living room couch set was replaced and master bed was replaced. However was not happy with floors being filthy (my feet were black after walking around) and sugar ants in kitchen need to be tented to. I also found food crumbs in the bedding. You shouldn’t have furniture that has marks on them and just about ever dresser had them, the kitchen floor needs to be replaced even though they cleaned them it is run down! The patio furniture needs updating as well! location was great, close to everything and the Gulf right across the street! 5 star not but a solid 3 mostly because of location and easy booking and owners had everything ready from check in to check out! ##### timothy c. We had some issues in the first week that were taken care of easily. We found the condo to be very dirty and rundown. Although we were told that there could be some outside construction during our stay, we certainly were not informed about the extent that this would affect our stay. The balcony off the master bedroom was boarded closed (even though it was advertised as having 2 functional balconies). This left the only remaining, usable balcony facing the busy Gulf Blvd. The advertised hot tub was actually boarded over and closed for the duration of our 12 night stay. While technically open, the pool was virtually unusable from 8-5 due to construction crews using air hammers running off of a generator beside the pool. While we were prepared for some noise, the noise level was intolerable. Upon arrival, the dish washer had such a stagnant smell that it was nauseating. The fridge, although clean, was so noisy when it cycled that we needed to unplug it when we watched tv in the main room. The furniture was very dirty and stained and the pillows left for the pullout bed were heavily stained and quite disgusting. We had to purchase extra pillows for our daughter to use. As well, the bed springs in the mattress on the pullout couch were so painful to lie on that we had to purchase extra blankets to add cushion. The tub was very dirty and the shower had structural damage from long term water leakage resulting in difficulty closing the shower door. ##### Darlene S.
