#### Left stranded during impending hurricane.

I booked a rental during Hurricane Helene to shelter during the storm with my 2 grandchildren ages 2 and 6 months, a second set of grandparents plus one great grandmother age 88\. During the lead up to check in, several rounds of bureaucratic requests for information and additional paperwork were requested. Including a photocopy of my drivers license and credit card. In all my transactions through VRBO, this request was highly unusual and suspicious. At no point was I provided the check in information that I specifically requested. This prevented occupancy of the unit, and represented a material breach of contract that left myself and my family without shelter with a hurricane fast approaching. Refund was denied.
