Within walking distance to everything you need and steps to the Gulf of Mexico Beach. This relaxing retreat is one of only two units available (convenient if you want to bring more friends or family). It was completely remodeled in 2025 with new furniture and stocked with all the comforts of home. Plus a FUN 3 hole mini golf putting green was installed for our guests to enjoy!!! The area was nice and quiet, easy access to the beach with maybe a 5 min walk. The apartment was loaded with everything you’d need for a comfortable stay. the outdoor sheds were filled with any and every beach supply you would ever need including coolers, umbrellas, chairs, beach toys. the outdoor put-put area was cute and the kids enjoyed it. Also there was a private fenced in area off the second bedroom that was really nice. we made use of the grill for the 4th of July. The AC in the house did quit working during our stay but the owners were super responsive and had it fixed within hours. The check in process was super easy. We chose Mermaid's Cove as it was a 2-bedroom with a separate living/kitchen area and close to the beach (2min walk). Check-in was easy and instructions were provided the day of. The property had everything needed for an extended stay (2 weeks w. 2 children 10yo/8yo) and more. Kitchen was fully stocked with utensils and dinner/cookware and basic necessities such as coffee filters, sponges, soap, etc. The large window in the kitchen was wonderful to eat breakfast by. The living room was spacious and furniture was confortable (loved the couch/sectional). The bedrooms were the perfect size and included large closets which helped keep the rooms clutter free during the stay. The queen bedroom had a door leading to a private deck/walkout with a table and chairs. The king bedroom had more than enough space for 2 adults and empty suitcases etc. Bathroom was a good size and never felt cramped. Everything was clean on arrival with towels and extra bedding available. The vacuum/broom/dustpan came in handy for after the beach. I love that there is a separate laundry room and so many beach items available. Overall, the stay was excellent and we enjoyed our time there. We had a minor issue towards the end of our stay which resolved itself but Bill was very quick to respond. Hoping to book again for 2025 once our time off confirmed. ##### Lena N.
