"The rooms was not that clean. The floors weren't mop. Our children socks were black from dirty floor. Otherwise the staff was friendly and the beach was pretty with the convenience of beach chairs and umbrellas. "

"Was a good stay overall, the infrastructure was still improving. The seaweed was stacked on the beach and a hard smell to overcome. Not the hotels fault.. winds were not in their favor. Overall good experience all staff were friendly."

"Beyond amazing stay at the Marriott in St. Maarten — truly the best customer service I’ve experienced at any hotel. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded expectations. The rooms are gorgeous, modern, spacious, and impeccably clean, with stunning ocean views and great amenities. The gym is large and well-equipped, and the pool area is absolutely beautiful — the perfect place to relax. What really made this stay unforgettable was the staff: - Kevin at the pool was always smiling, warm, and genuinely interested in how our day was going - Alexis at the pool bar was so friendly and attentive, always making sure we were having a great time - Jean Claude crafted amazing drinks and made every interaction fun - Niobi at the Restaurant felt welcoming and inviting every time we visited - Antonio and Shatijah at the front desk were incredible — professional, kind, and helpful - Dane the bellhop remembered our names and greeted us with such positive energy - Shadira, the hostess, was so warm and pleasant - Marla, the concierge, gave us the best recommendations The team went above and beyond to make my mom feel like a queen on her birthday — from the perfect drink to a delicious red velvet cake delivered to our room. "Stayed at Divi with my family. Great location. The pools well kept but on the small side, Beach is perfect though. Staff was helpful with special shout out to Devon who serves on the beach from Gizmos. Lew was a great bartender at Gizmos too. The rooms are dated but we didn't go to spend time in the room. Can't say enough about the location located on a beautiful peninsula."

"The property itself is beautiful, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. However, my overall experience was mixed. The layout is not very accessible. While there are elevators, they don’t always take you directly to your room or key areas like the pool, so getting around can be inconvenient. The location is also difficult to explain to taxi drivers if they’re not already familiar with it. I had issues with service as well. They asked how often I wanted my room cleaned, I selected every other day, and they only cleaned and provided new towels one time the whole trip. Even with the Do Not Disturb sign on and letting staff know I didn’t want breakfast, they still knocked multiple times and called the room phone and woke me up, so I never got to sleep in, which defeated the purpose of a relaxing trip. Breakfast itself was very minimal, just croissants and flavored yogurt, and not filling. The beach is a steep walk downhill and is connected to the Marriott, so you don’t have access to their chairs or amenities. Overall, I made it work for a one-time stay, but I wouldn’t return or recommend it."
