It was a quiet place, clean, looked exactly in the photos. Close to shops, restaurants, bus stops. Just seven minutes walk to the nearest beach. This was an excellent price for value, while in a budget category, it contained all basic amenities, I needed. The communication before and during the stay with the Family was prompt, friendly, professional.

As a solo female traveller this hotel was absolutely perfect, the staff were not only friendly but genuinely happy and interesting. The pilates was brilliant, the drinks and food faultless. I felt like the hotel went above and beyond and 100% recommend it and stay again.

Pool was closed and we weren’t informed prior to our visit. Very disappointed as this was a huge part of why we booked this particular hotel.

What a great property! Everything at this property was wonderful, right from our arrival to departure. Started with the helpful doorman to the custom welcome letter and chocolates. The rooms were clean and spacious. The room was quiet and had great sea and pool views. The food, especially breakfast buffet was superlative. Staff was super friendly, professional and helpful. They even threw in free late check-out. The decor and ambience was opulent. Thanks for a great stay.

Staff were incredibly helpful and polite. Room was cleaned multiple times a day and even got a free upgrade. Facilities were clean and good. Plenty of restaurants nearby, bus stops right outside.

The ambience within the property and available facilities were excellent. All staff were friendly, helpful and provided detailed information to ensure we enjoyed our stay. The hotel is within a very good network of public transport to different parts of Malta; we took the bus to Valleta but we could have taken it to other parts but we were only there for a long weekend. We found this hotel was very friendly and welcoming. The staff were attentive and eager to please. There was some building work across the road but you cannot fault the Mercure Hotel for things not under their control. Overall a very pleasant experience and would certainly use this hotel again.

I don't think I've ever stayed in such a lovely hotel. Absolutely everything has been thought of. The staff, especially the owners were friendly and very helpful indeed. It is a new hotel and is beautifully furnished and decorated with lovely light and airy public areas

Second time at this beautiful hotel. Positioned perfectly overlooking the harbour and view of Valetta. Rooms are lovely, had a Superior Twin with Sea View and balcony, very big, very clean, large bathroom with wet room shower this time, previously traditional bath, lovely fluffy white towels and good toiletries. Breakfast in the Regatta Restaurant offers full range of hot and cold choices, since Covid all served by staff, wide selection of coffee made barista style plus juices and fresh fruit....

Beds excellent, as was room size, drinking water etc. restaurant food was not good value, (fresh fish is cooked better elsewhere), but rooftop sunsets and cocktails lovely. Just wish pool was open before 10.30 am- nice and warm water in April ., and open until 19.00.

We enjoyed our stay here, it had everything we needed for a self catering holiday. Its a short distance from the airport and easy to find. Well connected for buses which ran regularly. We hired a car, parking all over malta is a nightmare but especially around this hotel, it was near a school and the university so we never attempted parking near the accommodation as there was never a space free. The hotels rooms clean comfy modern all with balconies sea views great place, transport good and a short walk for ferry over to Gozo, would certainly go back and recommend to friends and family.

We like everything we come here twice a year and always have a great time the hotel is well situated to amenties a nice walk, bus stop very close by as well as hop on hop off tourist bus

Lovely friendly modern hotel with great spacious room and amazing restaurant.

We really enjoyed our week in the Kempinski. The junior suite was very spacious with a beautiful bathroom with bath and shower. Staff were friendly and attentive, lots of foreign students. The restaurants were a little expensive but that is the downside of 5* hotels! The pools worked well with 2 having lots of kids and one with almost none so this pool was quiet.
