There was a small hiccup with the check in process (I think stemming from the fact that we'd booked through Expedia and not directly through the hotel itself), but that was resolved without fuss. A great little boutique hotel in the heart of Valetta. Large, well appointed rooms. Rooms have Nespresso machines as well as reguor coffee and tea making facilities. Beds are large and comfortable. Domus Zamittello is a splendid hotel formed out of an historic Maltese noble palace. It is perfectly situated in the heart of Valletta, with easy walking to most of the city, including the Cathedral, art galleries, museums, shops, buses, ferry, The greatest attribute is the entire staff at this hotel because I found them to be always helpful, kind and cheerful. Just come back at from a wonderful stay at Palais Le Brun. Staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Room was fantastic. Nice breakfast. Spacious, very clean and very quiet. Hotel is a only a short walking distance to just about everything in Valletta. Plenty of nearby shopping, dining galore and interesting historical places to visit. Desk was very helpful in arranging transport and advice on day trips and booking. The roof area with the pool was a nice place to relax after a long day....

Excellent location right at the heart of Valletta close to just about everything. Plenty of bars and restaurants just a few minutes away. Staff were all friendly and very helpful. Rooftop small pool and loungers with a stunning view of the harbour. Breakfast was included with a good range of hot food from the menu. Nice little bar. All in all we were very pleased with our stay and would highly recommend.

A lovely 5* hotel close to all amenities but very quiet. The hotel is in St.George's bay and the beach is 5 mins from the hotel wih a small sandy beach and sunbeds. There are a number of restaurants and fast food outlets close to the hotel. A short bus ride away at Spinola Bay will offer you a further selection of lovely restaurants on the waters edge. The Bay Street shopping complex over 4 floors has an entrance directly opposite the hotel or can be accessed from level -3 car park directly...

I stay in a few hotels & This is only based on my room (7). This is a very well presented hotel. Outstanding value for money. Amazing comfy bed nice fixtures & fittings. My only issues were that no matter how careful you are when showing the water gets all over the floor due to no shower screen so you have to mop up the floor with towels after (had baths the next two mornings) The other was the toilet sits too high I'm 5'11 and found that you cannot sit and relax!!! If I was 6'2+ then I'm sure...
