5 Star, Cosy, characterful thatch cottage in a designated area of natural beauty
10/10 Excellent
"We are just home from a wonderful week on the Isle of Wight and Moorlands was the ideal base for exploring the island. Cosy yet spacious, the house itself is bursting with character, and the garden is beautiful. Our children spent many happy mornings playing outside and we loved sitting by the stream reading our books in the evening. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and there were countless (modern and traditional!) forms of entertainment available. Communication was brilliant with our hosts and they went out of their way to make the stay special and comfortable for us, even inviting us to enjoy a late check out on a departure date which was very kind. The village of Brighstone is also wonderful, with a great pub, village shop and two lovely cafes a short walk from the house. We were absolutely spoilt for choice and couldn't have asked for a more picturesque and convenient location. It acted as a perfect central base to visit the Isle of Wight's beautiful beaches and many family attractions.Thank you for a fabulous stay - we can't wait to return!"
