Wonderful birthday vacay’
Fran’s place was fantastic. Clean, well decorated and comfortable. The concierge service offered at the condo was able to grocery shop for us. This was a tremendous help especially with our flight arriving after midnight. Years ago I stayed at same complex on the 2nd floor, but staying on 5th floor had the best views. Fran’s condo offered plenty of bath towels, beach towels, coolers, extra pillows and blankets and board games. The kitchen looked well stocked, but we hired a cook to prepare our meals during our stay, so my group only utilized the leftovers in fridge & microwave…lol. Fran was super responsive to all my inquiries. Highly recommend and hope to be back very soon.

Perfect Vacation
We have been renting in Barbados for many years and it was our first stay at this property. The unit was very well located near St-Lawrence Gap restaurants, right on the beach and was absolutely spotless, well furnished and beautifully appointed. The pictures reflect perfectly its beauty and comfort. The owner, project manager and management firm representative were easy to reach and very prompt to answer any queries we had before and during our stay. We can't wait to come back again.

Great place!
We had a wonderful stay this past week. The unit was clean and had everything we needed. Communication with the owner, property manager and even the housekeeper was easy and prompt. The security staff and maintenance staff for the building were welcoming, friendly and helpful too. The pools were a really nice bonus for the kids on the days that were a bit too rainy to head to the beach. We travel to Barbados often and this has been our favorite holiday rental thus far. Thanks Fran!

A wonderful vacation
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at 507 Sapphire. The condo is well appointed and had everything that we could think of. It is comfortable and has a lovely home away from home feel. The property manager Anita was super responsive and dealt with any issue that arose promptly, efficiently and courteously. What a place
We had a fantastic 2-week stay, with the best view one can possibly get. Clean, roomy apartment, it provided everything we needed. No need to watch TV at a location like this, but for those who want to, the channel opportunities seemed to be limited. Doesn't matter, absolutely wonderful place with a bunch of really good restaurants in walking distance (Harlequin, Sharky's and Cafe de Sol were our favorites). Since the condo is on the beach, it was so easy to walk back and forth, and we also enjoyed the wonderful swimming pools in between. Thanks! We'll be back :-)

Wonderful spot for a Girlfriends Getaway!
Everything about this condo was fabulous! It was located a few minutes walk or quick cab ride to St. Lawrence Gap with great restaurants and shops. The furnishings and decor were beautiful and the 3 bedrooms/3 bathrooms were great. The best part was the large 5th floor balcony overlooking the beautiful pools and ocean with seating from 6 at the table and 2 loungers. We arranged for a weekly rate for beach chairs and they were already set up for us everyday before we came down to the beach. Communications with the owner France were very clear and organized. We pre-ordered groceries and wine through the property management company, which were there upon arrival, and we also organized our airport transfers through them. Anita was on-site and so helpful, checking on us several times to make sure all was ok. I highly recommend taxi service from Richard Taxi, 1-246-282-3588. Richard drove us to and from restaurants, Oisten and gave us a fabulous Island Tour. He knows everything about the island and made our trip so much fun!! We will definitely return to Saphire.

Amazing Turtles!!
This three bed apartment overlooking the beach is a great base if you want to be in The Gap. The two main bedrooms are extremely comfortable with great beds and lovely linen, the third twin is less comfortable - very hard mattresses and the aircon is also a little dodgy in this room. The sunsets are magnificent from the balcony. Housekeeping are very helpful and efficient. The only problem I have is nothing to do with the apartment it is the local standard of restaurants - which is awful!!! You need to leave the St. Lawrence Gap area to avoid being very disappointed. The only exception was The Southern Palms which offer passable food at a reasonable price and excellent service.

Thank-you for your review. Mattresses can sometimes be a tricky purchase in a rental condo. Talking to vacationers most people prefer a mid-range hardness but others prefer firm or soft. We went with firm this time and no one has complained so far. These mattresses are brand new. We will take your review into account when we change the mattress next time. Thank-you. As for the food, Southern Palm, basic food , clean, good price. Mimosas, basic food,clean, good price. Primo, Great food, pricier. Although the AC are under a service contract we will inquire on this unit and have its reliability improved. Thank-you for the heads up.

Amazing Stay in beautiful Barbados!
This truly was an amazing experience! Fran made our stay seamless, from check in to departure. The view was breathtaking and the condo was just as beautiful if not more then what the pictures depict. The condo was spotless,spacious and on one of the most beautiful beaches (Dover Beach) on Barbados. Entertainment, fine dining, local cuisine and so much more, all within walking distance. We’ve all been to Barbados several times in the past and stayed at some other nice hotels in the area. I have to say that this experience from A to Z far surpasses any of our past stays. Great property and location
We have vacationed in Barbados for several years now, including a previous stay at the Sapphire Beach condos on a lower level, so we had a good idea of what to expect. Our previous condo was on the first floor and had a patio right outside the master bedroom on the pool area. It sounded appealing on paper, but we realized very quickly that there would be no privacy and it was always a bit loud. This condo is on the 5th floor (there is an elevator in building) and the deck is spacious and offers fabulous unobstructed views of the ocean and sunsets. The unit was very clean and well stocked with dishes, pots/pans, etc. which we appreciated since we like to cook ourselves. The photos are accurate and you get what you see online. Anita the property manager responded immediately when we had an issue with the A/C unit in the main room when we arrived. We didn't realize the sensor on the glass doors had fallen off so there was no power going to the unit. She resolved it quickly and we had no other problems the entire week. We loved that complex sits on stretch of beach about 1/4 mile long and that you can rent lounge chairs/umbrellas for about $15-20/US a day. Kenny has them set up each morning so that your group is always in the same spot. If you don't like the sand in your bag, there were always lounge chairs open around the pool that are free. Dover is good spot for surfing, there is a small grocery store within walking distance if you need anything and there is a local selling fresh fruits/veggies out of his truck right down the street. We highly recommend this unit to others and will consider staying here again if we come back next year.

Perfect for 2 friends. Really enjoyed 2 king beds with en-suite. Great privacy. Anita on site manager attended to our needs promptly. All staff were friendly and were helpful. It was fun at The Gap and best of all the nightly music could not be heard in Apt. The only light criticism is the bathroom fans are annoying due to their decibel level. Will definitely return.

Can't say enough good things about this property, I didn't want to leave a true home away from home. Traveling with two seniors and two children can be challenging but this place was perfect in terms of proximity to the beach, pool, restaurants and taxis right outside the door if we needed it. Both Fran and Kiana the owner and property manager were always easy to get a hold of via email or phone. The property was clean and had everything we needed. I would highly recommend this place.

Great Stay at 507
There are several options at Sapphire, but we chose 507 firstly because of the unobstructed views and also the level. However, the condo itself is fabulous, clean and nicely decorated, well appointed with comfy beds and ac in every room! We did have a small ant problem in the kitchen, which is probably not specific to the 'one' condo, but it was addressed as soon as we shared it with Alison and Kiana. The location is also great as it is in walking distance to restaurants, bakeries, the gap etc. Highly recommended! Thanks Fran for being a wonderful host!

100% I would rent this place again
This condo was perfect. I have no complaints. Beach was lovely. It was so nice that I did not have to fight for chairs. They rent them on the beach and you can make a deal when you are there for several days. Condo beds were very comfortable kitchen had everything you would need. The balcony was large so all 6 of us could sit out. Check in was very well detailed. Had no issues. There was a nice man in a van on the street I bought my vegetables from. Little shop up the street which was okay for quick shop. You can order groceries in line for ease. Great inexpensive restaurant across the street we went to dinner and breakfast a few time prices where great. I would suggest when you go take an extra suitcase hard side and pack coffee creamer shifts cooking oil pano cake mix cereal. Anything that is safe to take think ahead anything you can take because groceries are expensive. We like chips but at $9 US next time I am taking my own and any other snacks. Owner is very pleasant checks in on you staff is great if you need anything they check in. She supplies housekeeping beach towels I honestly did not have one complaint

The property and owner were fantastic. The concierge service had difficulty arranginf our airport pickup but the taxi service at the airport was excellent and considerably better price (about a 1/4 the price! And so we had the same fella pick us up for our transfer to the cruise port and he will be coming to get us from our cruise to take us to the airport so it worked out well for us. Great beach, shopping, restaurants within walking distance from the condo. Enjoyed the kitchen and deck off the living room. Was a great stay. But ps. Don't tell anyone. We want to be able to come back lol

A spacious and well equipped apartment in a great location. Although we had two adults, two teenagers and a nine year old in our party it never seemed crowded. The view was perfect. We enjoyed our trip immensely. Wonderful location with 2 pools, directly on the ocean, large balcony with plenty of seating for everyone. The ocean is clear blue with sandy bottom with no seaweed. Many restaurants and gift shops within walking distance. All our meals were very enjoyable and each had their own unique atmosphere. We can’t say enough about the kindness of the Barbados people. We always felt safe. Such a relaxing and magical place. Looking forward to our next trip.

Wonderful condo!
First time in Barbados and loved our accommodations. Condo was everything we could have hoped for! 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and fully equipped with everything we needed. Spent a lot of time on the balcony, enjoying the oceanfront view. Found the little restaurant across the street, Pronto, and ate nearly all of our meals there. They were extremely reasonably priced, and the staff was wonderful. Food at grocery stores was quite expensive, so it actually made more sense for us to eat at Pronto. Kiana, our condo management contact person, was absolutely terrific! Coffeemaker died, and she rushed right out to purchase another one for us! She was super. Also, got very lucky and met Glenn, taxi driver that is stationed right outside the condo. He took us everywhere we wanted to go and even went into most places with us to make sure we were treated well before he left us. Overall, trip was wonderful and we thank you so much for everything!

A great stay in Barbados
The unit was very spacious, well appointed and clean. It had everything we needed to cook meals and make drinks, better than most units I have rented. Was perfect for 4 to 6 people. We were able to do laundry as well so packing light was not an issue at all. Some minor issues with basic maintenance items like loose towel racks and leaking shower heads but nothing that posed a major problem for us. The balcony and windows had good views of the beach and ocean. The location was great with a short walk to restaurants, bars and shops in St. Lawrence Gap. The beach area was a bit smaller than expected but very nice with white sand...not a game changer, still a nice stretch of beach to walk on. Of course the water was typical Caribbean...warm, beautiful, awesome! We saw sea turtles several times while swimming. We were a bit surprised to find that we had to rent chairs on the beach...a group of people renting chairs daily added up quickly. Overall, I would rate 4.5 out of 5.

Wonderful Way to Spend Family Time Together
For a Canadian this was a very expensive place to stay (exchange rate woes!). However, the condo was so much fun. It was spotlessly clean. Spacious. The kitchen is very well equipped. Cooking dinners was easy if you want to save money. The view fabulous. We stayed in the master bedroom and left the sliding door open every night. Kids got the back rooms. If we had the money to buy a time share this would be the place. Great restaurants were literally no more than 10 minutes walking distance, 15 minutes max. We didn't even have time to check them all out. There were always cabs right outside our complex. The grocery store was only a 10 minute cab ride away if you didn't feel like eating out. The beach was beautiful. A morning walk along about 700 meters of beach at 7 am every day was a fantastic way to wake up. We had to put up with an influx of seaweed the first three days that we arrived, but then the waves pulverized it all and sent it back out to sea. We never had to really worry about stepping on sea urchins or running into anything poisonous like jelly fish. You could swim, snorkel or surf board a couple of 100 meters out while still standing on bottom during low tide. There apparently has never been a shark attack anywhere on the island! You don't have to go to Carlisle Bay to see turtles. It's difficult to see them there anyway due to the throngs of boaters and snorkelers. There are turtles on Dover Beach, but you do have to snorkel for them. Best time is before 8 am in the morning before the day starts to heat up generating larger waves that stir up the sandy bottom making visibility limited. There is a small coral reef just meters from the shore and while it's pretty banged up from all the surfers, the turtles come in to feed off the plant life that grows on it. They don't shy away from people. The property manager had no idea that there were turtles just off the beach. There are fish too, but the coral is not big, complex or pristine enough to support large fish or large populations. Still, there are very interesting fish to be found. Bring your own snorkel gear! There are two beautiful pools if the salt water gets to you. Well looked after. You can also rent two chairs and an umbrella for $15 US on the beach from a local. The only (minor) complaint was the short supply of toilet paper. Seemed like property management was rationing the stuff. We do hope to go back some day.

The perfect holiday
We have been to Barbados, but this is the first time we have stayed on the South Coast, specifically St.Lawrence Gap. Everything is there at your fingertips. Wonderful, affordable, children friendly places to eat steps from the front door. Grocery shopping a short walking distance, and the beach right outside the gate.507 Saffire Beach was perfect, the 8 of us fit beautifully. It has many upgrades, was impeccable, wonderful kitchen, nice soft beds, and if you want you can even sleep on the balcony, which 2 of us did each night. What a wonderful way to go to sleep. I can not say enough good things about this holiday.

We stayed here from October 14-28, 2017 and it was amazing. The condo conveniently located in St. Lawrence Gap and its surrounding areas such as Oistin and Bridgetown. Breathtaking views from the Master Bedroom as well as the balcony... Owner Franc is great to deal with as well as Jameela; the property manager; I would highly recommend this safe, modern and perfectly located property and will definitely stay here again in the near future...

Girls' trip
The condo had everything you could possibly need. It was within walking distance to several restaurants and shops. Beach was beautiful. The AC takes getting used to as it is on a sensor and only comes on when you enter room and goes off when you leave. The kitchen was fully stocked with cookware and dishes so we cooked breakfast a few mornings and cooked fish that we caught. We didn't rent a car but found an awesome taxi driver that took us anywhere we wanted to go and toured island with him. His name is Fernando and his card is on board in condo. Also went out on Silver Moon catamaran for morning and afternoon cruise. I would highly recommend it!

Barbados at its best!!!
My family and I recently rented this condo in the St. Lawrence Gap. First of all the view from the balcony was straight out of a postcard. The condo was clean, spacious and had all of the amenities for a home away from home. The beach was very close to the condo and was clear and blue, not crowded and most days there were even a few turtles to swim around with. There are many good restaurants within walking distance and easy access to taxi's or the bus if you choose to explore. This spacious yet cozy condo is a gem. There was even some welcoming groceries when we arrived to get us started. Most importantly some Banks beer!! We will be back.

Perfection!
Everything about this property exceeded our expectations. From first arrival, Prudence was there to greet us and show us the ropes. We were a family of 6 adults and one infant. The bedrooms were roomy and well equipped. We needed a crib and it was brought up and assembled right away. There were some snacks, cakes and juices that were in the kitchen when we arrived which was very nice of the property owners to supply. We also were offered the service of having someone purchase more extensive groceries so that we didn't have to go out to the supermarket right away. It was well worth the $20 to have someone stock your kitchen up.Take advantage of this service if you can. The condo views were amazing! I have stayed in a lot of home rentals and this is by far the nicest, most accommodating rental we have ever stayed in. Allison, the housekeeper, comes in on Wednesday's and was so very nice and didn't make us feel like we were in her way at all, even though I am sure we were. The property is close to everything. Restaurants, grocery, pharmacy/clinic, shopping, etc. Do not hesitate to rent this property. You will not be disappointed. France was a pleasure to work with and made everything easy. We will be back!

Paradise
A great location with a wonderful view off of the balcony just steps from the beach. The condo was very clean and equipped with all essentials. It is a very secure complex with very friendly security guards. Sisi and Jameela were extremely accommodating and very accessible throughout our stay. The welcome, starter kit of apples, eggs, bread, butter, cookies, juice and milk were very welcome as we arrived very late on a Saturday. The convenience store with essentials is located only a couple blocks away and a short taxi ride takes you to a larger grocery store. Terrific restaurants are only short walks away from the unit. We enjoyed Primo, Champers, and Harlequin the most and spent a few evenings at Sharkeys enjoying some drinks. We had a terrific time in Barbados and will definitely stay at Sapphire again when we return in the future. Thank you for such wonderful accommodations.

We'd do it again
Our first time to Barbados. Everything worked out fine, will be on the list of places we will revisit. Condo fit the bill. Location staff was very attentive, Dawn and company did a great job. Security was top notch. Fifth floor provided a great view. As suggested, we did not rent a car (first time without a car). Taxi's are outside 99 percent of the time if needed. Did a grocery store run to Massy's for $10US and took the shuttle back. Did an island tour with Fernando for $210US (four of us, 5 1/2 hours). Took a taxi to dinner once. Location was excellent. We walked into St Lawrence Gap for dinner's. Our favorite was Castaway's. On the water, good food, Robert the bartender is new best friend. About a fifteen minute walk. We tried a couple of other restaurants that had street views, good food but the water view trumped street view. The Silver Moon catamaran sailing was great. We saw other boats that were similar size that looked like they had 50 people on board. Silver Moon has a 12 person max. Food and staff were wonderful. Drinks are included, they would come to the bow and bring us cocktails if desired. $115US per person, 9AM-2PM. Fran was easy and accommodating, a pleasure to work with. If we return to Barbados, this will be the place we stay.
