I had a wonderful stay at the Courtyard. The hotel was exceptionally clean, and my room was beautifully and tastefully decorated. Everything felt comfortable, welcoming, and thoughtfully maintained. The staff were also incredibly friendly and helpful, which made the stay even more enjoyable. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a lovely place to stay!
Clean room, quiet area. We were on the 1st floor, street level on the harbour side. Lobby is on the fourth floor on the other side of the hotel. Easy walking distance to downtown shops and restaurants.
It is in the perfect location for walking everywhere
Staff is great and the restroom was amazing
Highly recommend
The only thing you have to pay for parking but it’s only 13 dollars a day
Lipstick on a pig. Upon first entering, they had fans in the lobby and restaurant and the poor staff looked like they melting. It felt warm and humid in the lobby. The elevator had no AC and often when you’d get in, it would drop down a little and then would reset the floor number that was pressed. Dirty dishes were outside the elevator on the 7th floor the entire day. Our room had water damage previously, the patch was well seen in the ceiling and there was damage/bubbling in the wallpaper that looks awful. The room smelled like feet.
We booked this hotel because it had a place to wash clothes since we are on a 16-day trip. Their washer was broken and since it was the weekend, we were told the local laundromat was also closed.
This is an old hotel. It shouldn’t cost as much as it did.
The location is terrific and within walking distance of the old downtown of St. John's. The room was spotless and the view was spectacular. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. My only gripe was that the guest laundry was not working while we were there and that caused a little bit of an inconvenience to find a laundromat that was open on the weekend. Other than that, the stay was so good that we extended it for another night.
Great central location.Excellent check in/check out experience. Victoria at front desk was very understanding and helpful when I tripped outside and needed some first aid items.
I was disappointed to pay for a harbour view room and be on a low floor looking out at an ugly fence and lots of machinery between me and the water. Otherwise, my overall rating would have been higher.
Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Very friendly. Would recommend staying at this Hotel. Our visit to St. John's, NL was wonderful, nice weather, very clean Province.
Overpriced property. We stayed 3 nights in a Harbour View King room. Room was smaller than expected and view of harbour blocked by supply vessels the majority of the time. On-site restaurant was disappointing. Better options in the same price range would be the Jag or Alt hotels.
