Room seemed clean but was in need of repair. Floor was coming up. Air conditioning didn't work and tiles grouting was discoloured. Bed was comfortable and clean. The hotel was closed to shops etc, lots of vans and trucks arrived during the night, making it noisy as we had to have windows open as air conditioning didn't work.

Basic but comfortable although my room was very warm, although it was 24 degrees outside. I had to prop open the sash window as it would sometimes close itself and when I tried using the ceiling fan the whole thing shook and looked like it was about to fall off ,so I switched that off. Aside from that staff were friendly, room was dated but clean and breakfast was good.

The room was clean but very basic, breakfast was brilliant and the staff were lovely, especially the cleaning staff, they were always welcoming with a smile and even attended our room hours after they'd done everyone else's as we spent almost a whole day relaxing in the room and then when we went out for dinner, they somehow knew and went in to freshen the room up which was greatly appreciated and totally unexpected given we hadn't seen them working on the floor when we left
