We had a wonderful stay at Paddle Away. The property was clean, organized, and stocked with everything our family needed. It was a comfortable place for our family of 6.
We had an awesome stay at Paddleaway! A beautiful condo! It everything we needed and was very comfortable. Awesome communication with the hosts throughout the stay! Would definitely stay again as we travel to the area frequently! Thank you for a great experience!
We had a great time at Desert Color. The condo, pools and Lagoon were easy to access. We loved the rooftop hot tub and fire - as no one else seemed to take advantage of it. Lagoon feedback - although gorgeous, it was kind of a bust for us. The water was FREEZING. Way too cold for us to swim in - but we like a little warmer water. The paddle boards were all rented by the time we got over to rent one and there was no way for them to track or a waiting list, so we just left and went to the pool. It would have been nice to have a spot in "line" to rent upon return of those paddle boards - maybe a feature that could be added? The condo itself was great. Response from the host was great and it was very clean. Perfect for what we needed for a little spring break getaway with our kiddos.
First off the condo we stayed at was clean and the perfect space. I gave a lower star rating because of a few things. 1- it sounded like elephants were walking over our heads during the day, luckily our upstairs neighbors were quiet at night but there's not much insulation between the spaces. 2- The bedroom windows are facing the parking area, which means even with the blinds closed, we could still see throughout our room all night long. I would suggest blackout curtains, or talk to management about turning off parking garage lights, but then there's safety risks right!? 3- Most condos and resorts stays we have had stock the kitchen but then also add a few spices and cooking spray. I had to make a Walmart run before cooking breakfast on our first morning because I didn't want eggs to stick (we packed in our food- not a complete deal breaker but was inconvenient). 4- The resort itself was okay, pickleball courts were always packed, so plan to go early or go during the heat of the day when groups clear out. But my biggest frustration with the resort was the pools. The lagoon is freezing-we didn't have paddle boards, I'm not sure I would've gotten in anyway, my toe was enough. My boys used the heated pools but one of the days we were there, my boys were the only ones in the pool. One other person got in, on the opposite side, no where near my boys. My boys are older so they started tossing a football in the water, an employee came up and said they had to stop.
We were very pleased with our stay. The place was very clean and had all the necessary supplies for a comfortable stay. We had a ton of fun and enjoyed the amenities that came with the property.
Could here upstairs neighbors. The pools seemed to be poorly filtered with amount of people. The wrist band thing is nonsense. The unit its self is semi comfortable.
