The hotel sits in a beautiful setting and very peaceful. Staff were very friendly. Room was light and very comfortable beds. We were there for our anniversary and would say it was rather spoilt on the Saturday as we were asked if we could make our meal slightly later at 7pm which we agreed to but didn't want later but because there was 2 large parties in we were not served until 8.30 which was unacceptable. We would have made alternative arrangement if we had been told this could happen.

"Cottage had everything you may need. Small welcome pack with tea/coffee/sugar/milk and shortbread for your arrival. Off road parking was a bonus. Chip shop within walking distance which was also an ice cream shop, post office and sold some groceries. Wonderful beach within walking distance too."

"On arrival, Nice location, quite a nice looking hotel, a bit dated, lots of white vans. Nice friendly staff. Reasonably priced. No family's or children in sight, I found out that this hotel is a tradesman stop off for the power station next door for the next 6 years, so it didn't have a holiday vibe ..."
