It is a beautifully renovated 1600s cottage/boathouse on the North Sea. The cottage is very comfortable and has everything that you need. It is so peaceful and calm with access to the ocean. It is very well located near Fraserburgh, with its great National Lighthouse Museum. We loved watching the ocean at night with the 'newer' lighthouse beacon. We hope to return and spend more time at this cottage in the near future. Well, maintained and very comfortable. It does sit right and I mean RIGHT off the road (like 2-3 feet) so if you're a light sleeper this may not be for you. However, the views are unbeatable and it's peaceful and very homy. We loved it!
