Welcome to “Vintage” Florida! We are just off the beaten path, so you may hear activity early in the morning to late at night….It is a vibrant town! Our blue home is next to a vacant business with access to parking behind the home as well as the front. We are conveniently located next to US -1 (which is a busy road; apologies for disturbance ) easy on street parking or behind home. While we are sharing the property with other guests, it is important that guests respect each other. House rules are enforced! Quiet Hours 10pm-8am Enter through the right courtyard through white side gate. Entry to unit is at the end of the home; up the stairs and to the right to Unit 3\. The "Gem" is a king bedroom situated in a multi-family house that has a shared garden with seating and tables for guests to enjoy an outdoor experience. The property has a total of five units with private entrances and is conveniently located next to busy US-1\. The location is a few blocks away from the best uptown restaurants and shops, and within walking distance to downtown historical sites. It's a 10-minute walk to the fort and 15 minutes to St. George S. Free street parking is available in front and 40-amp EV charging in the back and extra spaces. The beach is only a 10-minute drive away. -Dogs are permitted on the premises subject to prior approval, and a thorough sweeping of the area is required upon departure.Only dogs are allowed, not added on reservations. We allow a maximum of two dogs for a $25 cash fee per dog; no cats or other animals are permitted. •Walking is best, however bike, scooters, three wheelers rentals are available. Touristy town with trollies just a few blocks away or call a pedi-cab to pick you up at the front of the property! •Bikes are available for only guests staying on the property. Me'Lieu Property management is not liable for injuries when you ride off the property. Please inspect bicycles before riding. The room was the perfect size for me and my wife for a long weekend stay. However the bed was not comfortable, the middle sagged quite a bit making us slouch in the middle of the night and was very loud when you moved around and made it difficult to fall asleep and stay asleep. About a 12-minute walk to the historic uptown shops & Columbia restaurant - with other fun shops along the way. Also walkable to pizza (right next door) and Mc Donald’s for morning coffee. Room itself (unit 3) was adequately stocked for a basic room. Welcome mat on unit next to us was falling apart, which was a comical first impression. Cleaning person removed it after guest left (good call).A little additional lighting for the path to back parking would be a great addition. Great location and an easy 20 minute walk to the heart of old town St Augustine. Very safe area with a very well appointed rental unit.
