The staff were incredible. They went out of their way to be helpful. The food was amazing. Healthy and creative and so delicious. Loved it. I’ll definitely be going back. It’s a break to reconnect with nature - as such there are windows in the bedrooms with no blinds so you wake up slowly with the morning light. Personally I prefer black out blinds but it is in keeping with what the hotel is trying to do. I also feel a juicer on site to have freshly prepared juices would not go amiss but these...

Incredible experience thanks to fantastic hosts and a wonderful property. The Chalet was exactly what we were hoping for from a stay in Blue Mountains which was a little off the beaten path but still with good train access to Katoomba etc.
The owners are incredibly accommodating and welcoming, making for a very personal experience. Other than the hospitality, a highlight has to be the visiting parrots and other wildlife in the area.
Breakfast is light and perfect for what you need to start...

We had a great stay, the staff were super helpful, the food was superb in the restaurant, the amenities were great. The room was good, I would like to see a few more pictures and maybe more soft furnishings, but overall great value

Excellent location. Good motel. Park in front of room. Table and chairs outside for a beer. Goid size room. Good bathroom. Toaster, kettle, tea, coffee, fridge. Good bed.

We spent one night here on our way to the Wolgan Valley.
It is in a great location right on the Escarpment and a five minute walk to Echo Point. The rooms are a little dated but comfortable. There is no evening turn down service nor any complimentary bottled water in the room, rather surprising for a 4/5 star rated hotel. We had a wonderful Asian meal in Miss Lilian’s Tea Room restaurant. The service and staff there were fabulous. Breakfast was good with all the usual fruits, cereals, juices...

Blackheath is the best place to stay when visiting the Blue Mountains. It's less of a resort than Katoomba, and closer to more of the best trails. The motor lodge is my favourite place to stay. Comfortable, super friendly, and reasonably priced.
