"Check in was super easy. It made my day to be greeted by to 2 sweet and gentle dogs. They will come to check in on you and get a few pets before heading to the next guest. The room was nice and although we were only there one night the accommodations would have be excellent for a longer stay."

"Lovely stay in the Rainforest motel. Andy is a great host who made us feel very welcome. We sadly, were only there for one night, as we were passing through on our way to Queenstown, however if we are lucky enough to return to NZ we would definitely stay here for a few nights. The property is comfortable, clean and the unit we had was updated and had a great new bathroom / wet room. The whole motel complex has such a relaxed feel about it and we have no doubt recommending it as a great place to stay. Thank you Andy and staff ."

"More than just your average motel! Rooms have many personal touches that you don’t usually find and are newly and attractively furnished. Spotlessly clean. Owners are very personable and obviously take great pride in their establishment. Useful pub next door for food. Highly recommended."

"The 2 bedroom family room was small and sparse but cozy. The heated beds were a plus and the lodge was easily walkable to the grocery store, a great cafe, and the Fox Glacier HeliTours office. The office had games and puzzles to loan for rainy days. Room was clean and beds were comfy"
