We would go again and again and bring friends any time! Cons: there can be a lot of walking to room depending on where you stay. My wife had a sprained knee and had to ascend and descend 3 stories of stairs to make it to the pickup point to drive us to breakfast. Also the laundry is quite expensive and they don't do by Kilo laundry service so I calculated a week's worth of laundry would have cost $175 USD to be done at the hotel (pay by the piece). We instead walked 30 minutes to a sweet shop and it was $15 USD for 5 kilos." Beautifully decorated for Christmas! They even had a welcome night for guests with champagne, canapés and an invitation to participate in making the largest fruit cake ever! ( not sure when it will be baked - probably marinating in many types of alcohol until Christmas) Nice clean rooms; (the bed was a bit firm but I’m sure if we had asked they would have accommodated with a layer softer); we had a beautiful pool view. The staff was amazing especially Vrugo who seemed to be everywhere! Always smiling, making sure everybody was happy and taken care of. Also Justine - he greeted us every morning at breakfast with a genuine smile and interest in accommodating whatever we needed! I didn’t catch her name but there was a woman staff member at the beach bar/fire show who took exceptional care of my husband and I - she seated us in front and center seats and made us feel very special for the entire evening! (celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary). The beach is across a very busy street; although the hotel provided a nice staff member with a flag at the crosswalk making it safe to cross.
