The pool is cold and the hot tub was lukewarm at best. Our power went out at 5pm one night. Our unit was the only unit without power. I had to keep calling to tell them the power was still out. I was told numerous times the power would be back shortly. They told me that if it wasn’t resolved they would find a place for us. At a little after 9 pm (after me calling again) I was told that the power would not be back until the morning. I was told I would get $150 refund ( 2 night stay) even though our 12 night stay was $1600 and that I would have to find my own hotel at my own expense. I complained to Vacassa telling them I didn’t feel that was a enough due to us losing a night and our groceries in the fridge/freezer. Vacassa is great to use if your property has no issues, but if you do have issues don’t expect them to be very helpful. We have used Vacassa for over 5 years and won’t use them again, we’ll use Airbnb or VRBO. ##### JAMUS V. Other than that, the place was a nice size - perfect for our family of 5 and hosting a Christmas dinner for 7, and the location is nice, except the path to the beach is a little strange having to cut through a couple parking lots in search of the access point. Great location & a 5 min walk to the beach. Very nice pool area but it was too cool to use it. The complex is kept very clean, someone is always cleaning.
