Sitting on the balcony was fantastic! Beautiful uninterrupted views of the gulf with easy access to the beach. Location was very convenient for moving around South Padre. Overall a fantastic trip! From the well stocked kitchen, to the thoughtful addition of beach chairs, boogie boards, cooler, and everything else you could want for the beach. We loved our stay. We asked early on for early checkin and were told might not happen but we could access the beach and swimming pool and an area to change clothes. I was told that more than once. Upon arriving early we were NOT allowed to access the beach and pool to wait for our room. Disappointing. Only downside to the property itself is that there were 10 of us, plenty of room, but there were only enough towels for 6-8 people? We had to take time out of our day almost daily to hit the towel exchange during their hours- finally - last day - the towel people gave us extra towels? Also the ceiling in one of the bedrooms started leaking in the rain - just a nuisance but owners need to know. Also needs a new iron. Again the property itself is great.
