(Formerly Schlitterbahn Water Park) The Sea Vista complex offers 2 swimming pools and hot tubs, 2 tennis courts, free secure on-site parking and direct private access to the beach, just steps from your door. Our condo is located on the 5th. floor with inside elevator access and provides lots of privacy and quiet…beyond you there is nothing but dunes, sand and sea. The living/dining area as well as the master suite have wall-to-wall, floor-to-ceiling windows with the most amazing view of the Gulf of Mexico. Imagine waking up each morning after a restful night of sleep to a magnificent unobstructed Texas sunrise…it just doesn’t get any better than that!!! This same view can be enjoyed from the kitchen while preparing that gourmet meal. And/or relaxing on the spacious balcony while sipping your favorite beverage, feeling the gentle gulf breezes while watching the ships come and go or the occasional pod of dolphins play in the surf. The beachfront master suite has a king size bed with two dressers, a sitting area and a large flat screen TV. The en-suite has a walk-in tiled shower and a granite countertop vanity. The second bedroom has two queen size beds, a dresser, a large closet and a flat screen TV. The third bedroom has a queen size bed, a dresser, a large flat screen TV and a desk for those having to work while on vacation. These two guest bedrooms share the second bathroom which has a tiled walk-in shower and granite countertop. The bedrooms and bathrooms are outfitted with luxury linens and towels. We also provide a Pack-N-Play for your little one. Paper products and soaps are provided to get you started, even shampoo and conditioner. The fully equipped kitchen has a water filter system, as well as a range, microwave, dishwasher and refrigerator with icemaker. It is stocked with high quality dishes, glassware, cooking utensils, pots and pans, herbs and spices as well as several other small kitchen appliances including a crock pot, hand mixer, blender, toaster and both a drip style coffee maker as well as a Keurig coffee maker. There is comfortable seating for 6 at the dining table plus additional seating for 4 at the breakfast bar. Paper towels and trash bags are supplied to get you started. To add to your vacation pleasure, there are 4 large flat screen TVs with Spectrum cable and free password protected WiFi. The condo is fully air conditioned and has 4 ceiling fans…1 in each bedroom plus the living area. A full size washer and dryer are conveniently located inside the condo. A starter supply of laundry products is provided. For your beach time enjoyment, we provide beach towels, beach chairs, a beach umbrella, a couple of boogie boards and some sand toys to build that amazing sand castle. As a guest of Sea Vista you may purchase discounted Beach Park at Isla Blanca (Schlitterbahn) tickets available only through the Sea Vista office during the summer. There are many good locally restaurants and bars located nearby, many within walking distance. This was a great place to stay, with awesome beach access. All the rooms were very clean, and the kitchen has every thing you need. The kids really enjoyed the tennis courts and pool. Great views. We didn't need most of the items we packed. This unit had everything. Security was good. Private parking was great.Not overly congested. Staff were very courteous. Older pool man was friendly. The only issue was the blue walkway needed to be repacked at the end. Husband and family friend fell. Only regret was that I was not camera ready for an AFV entry.Would stay again next Julynbut may look for a unit in II. Already looking to book. ##### Brenda A. Lovely place to stay to meet up with family. Elevator went out a few times but Chad, up in the front office, was on it every time and would have it up and running within minutes. I 10/10 recommend this property! The condo had plenty of room for everyone. Clean rooms, comfy beds. Nice updated bathrooms. The walk to the beach is much shorter than other places on the island. The condo was exactly as pictured with the view being the show stopper. We didn’t know we’d be there for the space x launch so what an incredible surprise. Also fighter jets flying by one day and we watched a wedding on the beach, all from the balcony. We liked that it wasn’t a crowded beach area and that it’s a gated community. The only, and I mean the only reason this stay did not get my 5 stars overall was the flooded walkway to the beach. Knee deep putrid water, mosquitos, and inaccessibly for children and elder parents made it impossible for fun on the beach. The view of the sunrises was outstanding. Tons of natural light was a boost for your mood. Minor annoyances. The two back bedrooms have a frosted window to interior halls. One was with a very light shade that could not keep out the very.bright light from an interior hall. That same bedroom had very thin bamboo/polyester sheets that were not comfortable. Overall the unit was clean except for some cookie crumbs left on the kitchen counter, and a couple of throw rugs that still contained a good amount of sand. Details on a pricey unit are important. It was a little smaller than we are used to, but great for togetherness, and large enough for everyone in our party of six adults to have some space. Shopping and restaurants were nearby. I would have liked for more places to have been in walking distance, but since the weather was too hot to do much away from the water, it was fine. Walmart was near but farther away than we wanted to travel, but turns out the local Dollar General had most of what we needed anyway. We chose South Padre Island because of the central location between Tennessee and California, where our family would be coming from, and I think everyone enjoyed their stay.
