This condo sits on the second floor of Las Palmas Condominiums, just half a block up East Marlin Street from the sand and surf. The surrounding blocks are full of restaurants, cafes, ice cream shops, and bars, with the thrills and amusements of Gravity Park right across Padre Boulevard. Inside, you'll be welcomed back from a day at the beach by central air conditioning, a washer/dryer for your swimsuits and beach towels, and a comfortable, casual living space. The well-equipped kitchen, dining area, and living room are all open to each other, with a glass door leading outside to the balcony. There are TVs in the living room and both bedrooms for your evening entertainment, as well as a full bathroom paired with each bedroom. I stayed with my two children (6 and 11) and it was comfortable and close to the beach. We had some friends staying at a condo closer to the beach, which was nice, but I much prefered our stay here. We got a view of the bay side (next to carnival like attractions), pretty palms and flowers, two bathrooms, full kitchen, and LAUNDRY! It had everything we needed and more. The two bedrooms and separate bathrooms were great. The directions to the condo and use of amenities were clear and easy to follow. The kitchen was stocked with any tool/utensil that we needed. There were fun beach towels that we were able to use as well. Beds were comfortable. Even was able to take a nice nap on the comfy couch. The location is excellent! We walked to the beach to watch the sunrise (2 minute walk) and then walked to the bay to watch the sunset (5 minute walk). I did have some problems, there was low water pressure in the shower with one of them having none and no hot water. The other is the ac unit did not cool the place properly.
