Close to beach and plenty of room. We rented this home to attend a local wedding. The location of this home is incredibly convenient. The beach is a 3 min walk and the home is easy access to the grocery store, pharmacy and restaurants (and daiquiri stand). We found the size of the home perfect for our group. There is plenty of room for everyone to sleep. If you plan to stay a long visit, there are provisions you may want to bring. There are no renter 'leftovers' in this house. If you think you'll need it (ziploc, foil, cling wrap, coffee filters, etc.), bring it with you. Loads of space to store groceries and snacks. Having the pool available out back was awesome. We loved having the private space to float and socialize. Overall, we had a great week with our friends and family. We all slept well and were kept plenty cool. The only negative thing I want to say is regarding the out of town Vacasa property management. They were completely disconnected and didn't report an issue with the hot tub to the local management - also didn't provide me with a local number to contact. I reported the issue within a few hours of our arrival, and no one came to look for the entire 3 days of our stay. The issue made the hot tub unusable due to poor filtration. As we were packing the vehicles to leave, a technician came, and within minutes, the problem was resolved. Once the local Vacasa property management office was contacted, it seems the resolution was quick and efficient. They called me personally to discuss it and made every effort to apologize and make it right. I appreciate their efforts and concern, and am very pleased with the folks who are local to South Padre Island. I would be hesitant to rent from Vacasa again, though, unless I could have the contact information for the local office in advance of arrival. ##### Patti E. Lots of room with many bed, 3 full baths with one half bath restroom. The best part of our stay was how close it was to the beach, 2 minute walking distance, plus the pool and whirlpool was super clean and completed our stay. It was clean and the location was pretty central and it was a short walk to the beach. Our only complaint is that the hot tub took hours to warm up (like 3+). Our stay was great but could have been better. The pool filter was not working properly because the water was a little murky not clear like the neighboring pools. The code locking mechanism on the door malfunctioned on the second night of our stay. Called customer service in order for them to give us the code for the physical key which was in a small lock box itself.
