Located just a 2-3 minutes walk to the beautiful beach, Zula Del Mar can sleep up to 22 people in 7 bedrooms (see full bedroom configuration below), 2 living rooms, game room and an amazing private large pool & hot tub in a fenced yard. Our address is 116 E Mars Ln, South Padre Island Texas 78597 We provide everything you need to enjoy your Vacation! Pets welcome with a fee ($150 for the first 2 pets, additional pets OK with additional fee (more info below) We welcome any responsible group, under 25 require additional deposit. The Space: Upstairs: Large living room, fully stocked kitchen, large dining table, bar area, 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, patio. Downstairs: 2nd living room, garage/game room, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, access to backyard. Backyard: Private fully fenced yard with a large heated Pool & Hot Tub, gas grill (propane included), hammock, loungers, picnic tables. Ever - this is a health requirement and can also damage our equipment. No pets on beds & furniture. When you leave the house please crate your pet when possible. Pick up after your pet. If your pet pee on the concrete floor around the pool please hose it down immediately so it won’t stain or smell (hose provided in the backyard). This keeps our yard clean and inviting for future guests. Report any damage or accidents. This way we can prepare to solve it before our next guests arrive. By bringing your pet you accept all liability and agree to use caution and be a responsible owner. One of the things we love most about SPI is that dogs are allowed on the beach! Take your furry friends to enjoy play time in the gulf! Young guests: We welcome any responsible guests however if the majority of the adults in your group are under 25 we require a $1000 refundable damage deposit paid separately after you book. If all guests are under 21, alcohol is not allowed on the property. Please note: Per policy, the person who is making the booking must be one of the guests staying at the house. Parents are NOT ALLOWED to book on behalf of their children. Check in: No Keys Needed! We have a smart lock on the door and will send you the door code on the day of your arrival as soon as the house is ready. After you get the door code you can check in at any time after that. House will be ready by 5pm on your check in date. We always try to have the house ready as soon as we can, however that depends if we have guests check out that morning and the cleaners schedule so we can’t guarantee early check-in in advance. It’s best to check back with us the night before. Please note: access to the house will not be allowed before all outstanding balance is fully paid including accommodation, pet fees, pool heating fees and deposits. Check out: Check out time is 10am. The place was absolutely beautiful and fully accommodating for myself and my 21 other friends! Incredibly spacious and the yard almost felt like our own private resort. It was a perfect little walk to go to the beach as well. The house was equipped with everything we needed and it was perfectly clean and ready for us when we arrived. We had a family reunion here to celebrate our parents 70th wedding anniversary and a few other birthdays. Location within easy walking distance to the beach perfect for all ages. We also appreciated the large number of bedrooms, large beds and en suite bathrooms. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to keep our large group fed. Communication with the owners was timely, clear and they were very responsive. The pool and hot tub provided a nice respite from the ocean and warm weather. The rooms were very spacious and accommodating. Overall the home was beautiful, spacious and kept cool throughout our stay. The only problem was there was street work being done so we had to park a block away from the home, but this was no fault of the hosts. This was the perfect house for our group, the pool is large and the hot tub was perfectly heated. What was also very helpful was that there were so many utensils, crockery and flatware - as well as cooking equipment - we never ran out. There was an additional fridge in the garage that was awesome to have for a larger group. Most of the blinds are bent or broken, windows were broken and taped. The air filter had not been replaced in a very long time which made black dust or mold stains on the vents. I had contacted the homeowner with our concerns and attached photos and their response was “thank you, we knew about most of these problem but hoped we had a good time”. We paid top dollar for a house that should have been under repair and getting a good cleaning, and the homeowner rented it to us anyway! 😡 ##### Teresa E. There were 16 of us ranging from age 6 months to 68 years. The house was very well supplied with everything needed for our week stay. There was more than enough seating for all of us. A highchair and pack and play are provided (and looked new) for the little ones. The kitchen was well supplied with dinnerware and cookware. Plenty of toilet paper so there was no need to buy more. The pool was beautiful. Our grandchildren spent a lot of time in it. The location of the property was perfect for an easy walk to the beach. All the pool toys, pool towels, beach chairs and beach wagon were provided. There were more than enough beach chairs that looked new and were high quality. The little and big kids had a lot of fun playing on the arcade games, ping pong and pool table. The gas grill is piped directly to the gas line so no worries about running out of gas while grilling. One negative is the water from the outdoor shower and air conditioner has no place to drain which meant there was water standing in different areas that you had to walk through in the pool area. Easy solution is to have a squeegee available to push the water to the drain by the pool. Overall this property worked great for our family and we would stay here again. It is in a perfect location to enjoy what South Padre Island has to offer. ##### Marcia J. The bedroom and bath layout for this property is good for our party of 12\. There weee plenty of kitchen chairs and sining chairs. A minus would be they are all metal so needs a bit of padding for long stays at the table/bar. The kitchen is well equipped with all the things one needs for a weeks stay. The only minor complaint would be the cleanliness of the place wasn’t quite 5 star. I think the cleaners rushed their cleaning in between renters. I would say when we had an issue with the dish washer to owners and maintenance responded quickly and did a great job to get it working . Internet worked great for all of our group who were big time phone tablet users. Overall I would stay again. They also had plenty of chairs and such for the beach which was quite helpful for w. 👌 ##### William D. It was only 2 minutes walk to the beach and when we tired of the beach, we swam in the pool. The house was lovely and the perfect set up for our big group with 2 living areas and a nice sized kitchen. We loved every minute of it. The hosts were very communicative and answered questions when we had them. There was a problem with outside lights around the pool and they were taken care of as quickly as possible for us to enjoy.
