One of the best rental properties that we've ever stayed at, hands down! Communication with the property manager was quick, efficient, and very polite. The house was clean and the bathrooms and kitchen were amazingly well-stocked. The beds were so comfy and every room and bedroom had so much space and all of the amenities that you could ask for. The pool was beautiful and a good size given the size of the backyard. Loved the ease of the boardwalk straight to the beach. Needless to say, we were sad to pack up to head home at the end of our stay! The hot tub and heated pool are a definite plus when they work! The maintenance team is quick to respond with any issues. The neighbors can be loud, so not great for very young kids at night. You do need to bring a lot of your own toiletries but stores are close by and convenient. I'd definitely stay again if given the opportunity! Loved the straight access to the beach and all neighbor renters were very respectful. However we did run into a few hiccups. Our stove did not work and was not functional all weekend. BBQ pit is very old and cannot be used. I recommend the owner buying a new one or make sure you bring your own. Master shower drain leaks onto the main patio/pool so watch your head! Everyone having their own bathrooms was great. Clean place and we had very little to no issues. very clean water in the pool and hot tub. It was great to have the pool and hot tub during some on the inclimate weather and for the young ones in our group. There was a lot of clutter in the place as far as cookware and all. Would have been nice to have the pantry for our food and needs versus a bunch of cooking and kitchen utensils that are not needed or wanted when on vacation. We were worried about some other reviews mentioning flooding into the unit during rain. We had some rain days and had no issues at all. Overall, great place and clean place. 4.5 out of 5 only because of the kitchen clutter. SPI Rental was easy and wonderful to work with. 5 out of 5 for them. ##### Mathys V. From a partner site ### 8/10 Good #### christopher B. 9 Apr 2024 #### Beautiful Location The house was very clean, and the location is perfect. The SPI Rental staff was very kind and responsive. When searching for properties, we specifically searched for one with a heated pool and hot tub. Having used SPI rentals in the past (5108A), and having had a wonderful experience, we decided to stick with SPI Rentals and go with 5108B. The ONLY issue with the home is the pool. We arrived arrived and both the pool and hot tub heaters were off, and both cold. Maintenance was very responsive, and came out to service it. The pool did heat up, however, it heated up to 102 (per the second maintenance person to the house). I believe we called on maintenance a total of three times, whereas each time it would heat right back up to 100+, before we gave up and excepting that the pool was way too hot to get in. Based on this issue, we would not reserve this property again. I still rate the property as 'above average' because the home is beautiful and the location is perfect. ##### christopher B. They definitely did it right! The towels are plush. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need, minus pantry supplies. There are 2 regular coffee pots so bring filters and coffee. Definitely bring some extra ice. There is plenty of barware and tools so bring the drinks! The windows and sliding doors all have top of the line shades. The window shades are electric. The beds are all comfy and dressed perfectly. The private pool and hot tub are awesome! The one downfall was not being able to regulate the temperature on the hot tub. It was set to 102 and at times that was just too hot. We were constantly turning it on and turning it off. There are plenty of USB charging stations. You just need to bring your cords. Bring a wireless speaker for the pool. There is a ton of seating outside but we definitely missed some comfy chase loungers. There are 2 sets of washer and dryers and 2 refrigerators. The place stayed cool, but we like to sleep with it much cooler. The AC is regulated and won't go below 70\. We were grateful for ceiling fans! It wasn't a deal breaker for us. I get that this place could potentially rack up a crazy high electricity bill. Bring beach towels! There are a few chairs and boogie boards in the garage. There is even a cart to use. We didn't use them. There were a few things that didn't work but they didn't hinder our stay. SPI rentals would have been on top if it but we chose to let them handle those things after we left. Wanna Wanna is literally a few doors down so this part of the beach is pretty busy. You do get to enjoy the Fri and Sat night bands that play there. All in all we agreed we'd definitely stay here again. This is a brand new rental and I see it being a popular one. We venture here at least once a year. If you need a bay fishing guide, look up Big John out of Pirate's Landing on FB. It's always a good time on his boat! Our go to eateries are: Ceviche Ceviche, Gabriella's, Joe's Oyster Bar in Port Is, Cap'n Roy's, Yummies is a must for breakfast, Wanna Wanna and Pier 19 to cook your catch. Definitely book a massage with Bea at Massage and Healing Arts. She's the real deal. Can't wait to come back! Thanks so much for sharing this home with us! ##### Staci S. There was an odor the required fans and vent fan to be on constantly for days.
