Pictures showed a grill. Grill was there but not useable. When I asked about it the response asked if it was listed as an an amenitie. No but there is a picture. No intention of making that right. We especially appreciated the space, with 3 bedroom and 3 bathrooms. The kitchen worked fine for us, with a Mr Coffee coffeemaker and a good microwave. (We didn't cook, but cooking utensils and pans are available.) There is a very short walk to beach access points. The area was quiet during our visit (early October). Although it is a duplex, we didn't hear our neighbors except when both families were outside using the pools. This unit has a private yard and pool, a covered back patio with ceiling fans and a table. You can hang out in the livingroom on the couches or outside by the pool when you're not at the beach. The AC works great! We had one problem, a slow drain, that needed to be fixed. I contacted Vacasa and someone came out to repair it right away! We have no children and we work hard and want to play hard with what the South Padre Island has to offer: Smorklng, beach combing, Beach water park.
