Charming beachfront 1 king bedroom, beachfront balcony, Pool, hot tub & BBQ area

Cozy little one bedroom condo on the 4th floor at The Florence, right on the beach with uninterrupted ocean views from the private balcony. You’ll love this place because of the location, the kitchen, the comfy king bed and the views. There is a queen pull out sofa sleeper in the living room. A great couples getaway, this intimate, den-like vacation home is the perfect backdrop for a low-key, romantic getaway. Pool and a hot tub. Free Garage and onsite parking.
We are located toward the north part of the island between Clayton's and Wanna Wanna. Walking distance to many places but away from the noise and crowds.
The island has a free Metro bus that picks up right in front of the building and runs until 9:00 PM.
Pet friendly. Pet fee and Pet Agreement required.

Spring Break: Spring Break age requirement is 21, everyone staying must be at least 21 unless they are with their parents. No exceptions.
Security Dates: $25 ID Wristbands are required for each guest over the age of 10 during the following times: Spring Break Texas week, Easter weekend, Samana Santa, and Independence Day Holiday weekend. Please reach out for current security dates if you are booking around these dates. This cost pays for security that is hired during these times.
A rental agreement is required and will be sent to you for digital signature after booking.
All guests must adhere to the rules of the building.

Nice Little Get Away!

My husband and I just needed to get away, and this quaint little condo was great. The beach view was just beautiful and the unit had everything we needed. My only complaint was that the shower is a bit small and the water pressure was low, however it was a holiday weekend so there were ALOT of people staying in the building itself. More parking would have been nice as well, as we saw numerous vehicles parked where they weren't supposed to be. All in all though, we had a spectacular time!

Great view!! Primary reason for our selection. Dated decor as photos show, not modern trendy, but we happened to chat with the manager about planned updates. Our bed linens were fresh, NO pet smells or other in the unit. No disposal or dishwasher as others noted, but we mostly ate out. Do bring your own shampoo. Parking on a summer weekend, we always had one available at the building or across the street. Good beach access, good especially for the eastern view.

The view was beautifull, the condo was a little dated. The balcony chairs were not comfortable. I am not a fan of cold showers. There were not enough trash bags. The gate code was changed without communication from the host.

Location location location

Great place. First day I got out the beach umbrella and chairs from the closet and sat out by the waves. Second day I realized I didn’t have to do all that to get the same sun and listen to the waves. I just put the beach chair on the balcony and it was just the same. My drinks and the bathroom were right there. Loved it. Walked along the beach at night and in the morning. Sure, the condo is a little dated, has dark wood, the bed squeaks, the TV is a bit scratched, etc. BUT the important things - it was CLEAN, the bed was comfortable, it was RIGHT ON THE Beach, there’s a working hot tub and pool downstairs. It has all that. And the management company was very good about providing detailed and timely directions for everything. It was a smooth relaxing trip for me.

No dishwasher, garbage disposal, place is nice for 1 or 2 people. Clutter with eating space. Cabinets are head bangers in bedroom. We didn't have water 1 day for 12 1/2 hrs. Kitchen faucet needed to be fixed. No window shade on one window to balcony. We had a reservation for 2 weeks, they furnished 1 1/2 roll toilet paper, 1 1/2 paper towels. View was great. Complex hot tub had only 1 speed(slow) no bubbles, pool and hot tub weren't cleaned every day. Somewhat disappointed with overall experience. We decided to leave early. With that kind of money we spent could stay at a hotel cheaper.

Amazing views with access to the beach

The unit was very clean, and the views were absolutely amazing. We were wanting something close to the beach for a few days of relaxation and this place definitely delivered. We didn't spend any time in the pool area but as we passed through to get to the beach, it always appeared to be clean and well kept. Parking was a bit of a struggle for part of our stay due to re-sealing of the main parking lots. But that is just the necessary maintenance that is required from time to time. Even with the re-sealing going on, we were able to park right across the street, so it wasn't that big of a deal. The only things I may mention as being somewhat of an inconvenience is that the bathroom shower is pretty small and kind of tight to get in to and the lack of sharp knives in the unit. We cooked a couple times during our stay and that was one thing we wish we had, sharp knives. Other than that, it was a great place, and we had a great time away with plenty of relaxation.

The Florence Apt. 404

Unfortunately the TV didn't work in the bedroom for two of our scheduled three day stay, even when I spoke with the Saint. man Josue about the TV issue. The built-In cabinets in the bedroom (upper two shelves) & family room were dusty. The bedroom linen had an aroma of Cigarette, which we ended up taking out the bed. The kitchen faucet was loose and wobbly when using. Not all the light worked in the condo, and the way the AC vent is positioned above the bar sink. does not cool down the family room. We so much wanted to enjoy our 33rd wedding anniversary out at SPI. Great location...Place could use some updating & freshing up.

Not luxurious

I am overall pleased with staying here. We brought 2 elderly dogs to see the beach, and for that, it was great. Understand with this listing, you are paying for the view and location, which both are great. Loved that dogs are accepted. However, it is an older outdated building. There was a stain on the pillow case in the bedroom, and there are stained throw pillows on the couch from the 70’s. The unit was overall clean other than that. They only supply you with 1-2 rolls of toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, etc. so make sure to bring your own. I would expect a host to supply these basic things at the very least when paying the price we paid. As long as you aren’t expecting luxurious, this is not a bad stay. Parking permit was not in the room when we checked in, but the host did respond quickly and brought one up same night.
