(Formerly Schlitterbahn Water Park) The Sea Vista complex offers 2 swimming pools and hot tubs, 2 tennis courts, free secure on-site parking and direct private access to the beach, just steps from your door. Our condo is located on the 2nd. floor with inside elevator access and provides lots of privacy and quiet…beyond you there is nothing but dunes, sand and sea. The living/dining area as well as the master suite have wall-to-wall, floor-to-ceiling windows with the most amazing view of the Gulf of Mexico. Imagine waking up each morning after a restful night of sleep to a magnificent unobstructed Texas sunrise…it just doesn’t get any better than that!!! This same view can be enjoyed from the kitchen while preparing that gourmet meal. Take a moment to relax on the spacious balcony while sipping your favorite beverage, enjoying the gentle gulf breezes while watching the ships come and go or the occasional pod of dolphins play in the surf. The beachfront master suite has a king size bed, a closet and a large flat screen TV. The en-suite has a walk-in tiled shower and a quartz countertop vanity. The second bedroom has a king size bed, a dresser, a large closet, a sitting area and a flat screen TV. The third bedroom has a queen size bed, a bunk bed and a large flat screen TV. These two guest bedrooms share the second bathroom which has a tiled tub/shower combination and quartz countertop. The bedrooms and bathrooms are outfitted with luxury linens and towels. We also provide a Pack-N-Play for your little one. Paper products and soaps are provided to get you started, even shampoo and conditioner. The fully equipped kitchen has a range, microwave, dishwasher and refrigerator with icemaker. It is stocked with high quality dishes, glassware, cooking utensils, pots and pans, herbs and spices as well as several other small kitchen appliances including a crock pot, hand mixer, blender, toaster and a drip style/pod style coffee maker. There is comfortable seating for 6 at the dining table plus additional seating for 4 at the breakfast bar. Paper towels and trash bags are supplied to get you started. To add to your vacation pleasure, there are 4 large flat screen TVs with Spectrum cable and free password protected WiFi. The condo is fully air conditioned and has 4 ceiling fans…1 in each bedroom plus the living area. A full size washer and dryer are conveniently located inside the condo. A starter supply of laundry products is provided. For your beach time enjoyment, we provide beach towels, beach chairs, a beach umbrella, a couple of boogie boards and some sand toys to build that amazing sand castle. As a guest of Sea Vista you may purchase discounted Beach Park at Isla Blanca (Schlitterbahn) tickets available only through the Sea Vista office during the summer. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed to make some of our meals. The location to the beach was awesome - just a short walk which was great since we had 2 little ones with us. Beach towels, chairs, an umbrella and beach toys were available for our use. This condo is toward the end of the island and the beach was not very crowded even though it was the weekend. The pool was also nice and we spent a fair amount of time in the pool. Condo was as described and clean. Only thing that I saw that needed attention were the lamp shades bc they had a lot of dust and/or hair on them. Some of lamps also had bulbs that were out. A couple of suggestions would be to get rid of the large glass coffee table that’s in the 2nd bedroom with the king bed and replace with a dresser or chest of drawers as there was nowhere to put our clothes. Also the black metal “side tables” you have throughout the condo are not usable. You can’t set anything on them. They need a glass top or to be replaced. The kitchen is fully functional and has everything you need. We enjoyed the large balcony. One thing I want to mention is that the beach access has a lot of deep sand that you have to walk through (for a long way) before you reach the area that’s compacted and easier to walk on. It was extremely difficult to get through for my elderly parents and myself who is disabled. Even my husband had issues pulling our beach wagon through it. In fact, we only went to the beach at the condo once bc of this and had to find another alternative beach access. ##### Jennifer O. This was our second trip to SPI – and the second consecutive year we were in SeaVista. This year we reserved this larger #205 condo, which had a beach front view. This was THE absolute perfect condo and vacation! Besides amazing amenities – i.e. - fully stocked kitchen, as well as beach chairs/toys/towels, amazing décor, and everything you can think of, the beach view and location is truly thumbs up. So very relaxing and refreshing to wake up and see the morning sunrise and hear the waves right off your main balcony! As stated, the condo was fully stocked with all essentials; all you need is your food and drinks and you are ready to rock and roll. A quick elevator trip down to the lobby and then a 3-5 minute walk on the boardwalk puts you right at the beach – ready to have fun in the sun. SeaVista is at the far south end of the beach, and so there is very little traffic; always ample room to set up for the day - with room to spare. Lastly, Mark and Becky are exceptional hosts – always available via messaging in the app. Last year when my umbrella broke in a gusty wind, the she had a new one sitting at our front step the next day; this year when we had an issue with a beach chair, she had replacement waiting for us in the closet the next day. Situated in a prime spot, it offered convenient access to the beach and a variety of restaurants. The check-in process was a breeze, adding to the overall convenience of our stay. The condo was spacious, quiet, and well-appointed. Comfortable furniture and a cozy atmosphere ensured a restful stay. The kitchen was adequately equipped with essential appliances and utensils, making it convenient for preparing breakfast meals. However, a few cleanliness issues detracted from an otherwise enjoyable stay. Upon arrival, hair strands were found in the master tub, and the toilet's base needed to be cleaned in both bathrooms. Additionally, the handles on the sinks appeared not to have been wiped down thoroughly, and the bathroom mirror was noticeably dusty, as were the table in the second bedroom and lamps in the non-master bedrooms. Furthermore, the linens did not have the fresh scent I typically associate with freshly washed bedding, and the kitchen towels had a slight moldy odor. The floors in the kitchen and hallways also could have used a more thorough mopping. We are confident the outlined concerns will be addressed to ensure a welcoming stay for future visitors. Despite these cleanliness issues, the overall experience was positive and relaxing. The comfortable accommodations and location primarily made up for these shortcomings. We are grateful for a relaxing and fun vacation. This place has now made our top list to come back to when we come back to SPI. It was spacious and with the kids being themselves and no complaints.
